Agree. I’ve really enjoyed the prequel threads. They’re so easy going.

Honestly, some people just like being miserable. I can't imagine coming onto a nice, cosy thread and moaning about something that is perfectly sensible.

I don’t understand how some people cope in the real world if they are mortally offended by someone saying something is a shame.

Just using up the rest of the messages to stop people moaning!
I think these threads are great and appreciate the effort that’s taken to admin them.

And the prequel thread number 3 has just filled up without the chance to post the link to thread 4 so it neatly illustrates why Sideorder normally posts the links to new threads just before the thread fills.

For thread 3 I was on holiday so made it a bit earlier so we didn't run out whilst I was travelling

How about instead of moaning we say thank you? @Sideorderofchips doesn't have to do it and neither does @Reastie. I personally prefer when the new threads start a little earlier. There was multiple times in the past where there was a flurry of messages before the new link could be posted. And then even sometimes someone else tried to take over as a thread hadn't been made

These threads have always been the nice ones on Mumsnet. We generally don't moan or grumble, people share bargains in good faith and it's a lovely run up to Christmas.
