This thread title made me think I should make up a 12 days of christmas song for all the main bargains we've got! Thanks@Yalz and @ApiratesaysYarrr for the inspo on the title.

In message two are the links and info from last year - if anyone has anything they'd like me to amend or add, please do tag me and I'll update.

A reminder not to post affiliate links in the thread but that MN do change amazon links shared by posters into MN affiliate links.

Please do watch the thread rather than post to mark place to make it easier for everyone to keep up and find relevant info.

Thank you for all the recommendations for the ww2 books. Good to know about goodnight mister Tom also as she does tend to be quite a sensitive child I think. I’ve noted everything down and will see what her mum thinks also. Who knew there was so much choice and so many knowledgable MN willing to share their thoughts. I love this thread for the chat as much as the bargains (but do apologise for hogging the thread with quite a niche subject for Xmas!)

Oh no! My family have all opted out of secret santa this year, which I didn't realise means we need to buy everyone a present!

Three sets of couples to buy for, hadn't budgeted for them, but need to get them something. Does anyone have any bargainous ideas that could work please?

Claramay78 · 19/12/2023 10:24

I'm still looking for recommendations for nice aftershave/smellies for a 50 year old sporty man. Any suggestions, please?

Thanks

A board game for each couple on the three for two offer? Depending on budget could also package it up with a bottle of wine and some chocolates as a “games night hamper”.

I just want to ask if anyone has the link to the lock picking kit that was mentioned a few threads ago.
It’s for a January birthday.
Thanks.

unfortunately not as much of a bargain as it was (unless the 50% off tick box is no longer visible because I used it? Not sure how that works)

That might be an idea my brother and his wife live games but have so many it would be hard to know which to get them.

But the others I don't think play games much but would make a nice gift. Thank you

There are a couple of Ted Baker perfumes in this week’s Boots £10 Tuesday. There’s a vintage disposable camera, but it has mostly only one star reviews.

There are a couple of wooden toys: this wooden garden looks quite sweet.

Books for younger readers of World War books. I read this as the author has rewrote one of his books in a child friendly format and there are extra learning information at the back.

@psuedocream3 what’s your budget? Could you make up a ‘night in’ hamper each with a small game (dominos or pass the pigs type of thing), a bottle of wine (or a couple of the cocktails for example I posted above) and some crisps / chocolates? You could probably do that for about £20-25.

Dee1224 · 19/12/2023 12:29

@Claramay78 - I like Rituals - they do some nicely gift wrapped products for men.

Dee1224 · 19/12/2023 12:44

Just to say: My BF Oodie has finally arrived today, after many emails, reordering and much stress. Glad to have it, but I will never order from the Oodie again 😿

Chocolatecakewithsprinkles · 19/12/2023 13:15

Can anyone recommend a good 3d pen please?

TheGriffle · 19/12/2023 13:34

@Chocolatecakewithsprinkles the 3Doodler was recommended on an earlier thread and I purchased one for dd. Not sure if it’s any good yet obviously but it looks a lovely set. No good if you’re after it for Christmas though as they’re currently sold out, unless you can find them elsewhere. 3d Pen

Can anyone recommend cheap but very comfy slip in slippers suitable for a hospital stay. Also need very loose at-the-waist trousers post surgery. Bit niche but going practical!

I’ve just had a little look and it’s showing as a 10% off voucher for me.

Chocolatecakewithsprinkles · 19/12/2023 16:40

@TheGriffle thanks there are a few available in my local smyths.

Glassbottom · 19/12/2023 16:49

Just spotted that Galaxy Ear buds have been reduced from £139 to £54 on Amazon. I haven't used them so can't vouch for the quality but it seems a very good saving

Rainbow1612 · 19/12/2023 17:04

I'm probably too late but did I see a morrisons discount code on here? I can't find it 🤔
Thanks

Does anyone know where the best place to buy real life gift cards from is? Please and thanks.

Dee1224 · 19/12/2023 18:51

Hi,

Aromatherapy Associates have some items on sale and you get a cute little ‘sleep’ oil in a Xmas cardboard bauble free with any purchase. May not arrive before Xmas, but could be worth a look.

I have ordered a little something for me, (excuse being that I still feel dreadful after my bout of Covid last week😾).

Rather more expensive, but Coach have also started their winter sale.

Hi, I’ve bought them from Sainburys, Tesco and they usually have a smaller section of them at Boots 🎄

Bsgetty · 19/12/2023 19:26

@Delahot We’ve bought these slippers recently - they’re very thickly padded inside, and have a rubber sole. Very comfy! Currently £7.99, but not many sizes left by the looks of things.

Just found this in the mail from Museum Selection but it runs out today if it's of any use to someone
