I’m after the following:

• a phone holder for a bike
• a personalised photo letting for a male
• an air fryer cook book
• liquorice hamper
• possibly some sort of beer dispenser

Could anyone advise me about the PlayStation 5 please? I know nothing about games consoles but DS is desperate for one for Christmas/Birthday.

Do they ever have offers on or should
I just suck it up at the current prices?

Do I need to get a bundle or something? Some seem to come with a Dualsense thing, some come with games... I want to make sure that I actually get the right thing! What's best?

Any advice very gratefully received!

@BlackFlyChardonnay last year orders placed 23rd-28th November were eligible for free Christmas delivery. They don’t do it every year, though. Might be worth getting on their mailing list?

You won’t get it discounted and are best getting a bundle. If you want to be able to buy second hand games then get one with a disk drive (otherwise you can end up paying a lot at the PS store). Try and get two controllers, means he can play with a friend but you can always get a second separately, and if there is a game he likes then you might get it thrown in the bundle free. This is your best chance of a “bargain”. Very or Game have decent bundles.

@Georgieporgie29 another thank you for the hairdryer! The filter in mine burnt out ages ago and I haven't been able to justify the cost of a new one.

Sorry Nicky- nothing on student beans or unidays. They did have 10% recently on one of them because I got it for a friend.

@thaegumathteth yea I got 15% off the Sephora calendar. You just need to add the brand to your favourite in your account. You can add 2 brands. It should give you 10% off but it gave me 15% off the £49 calendar for some reason

I remember seeing another posting say that they’d been in to buy something and given an email address for their receipt and had then received an email with a discount code. It was for either 10 or 20%. Might be worth trying this, buying something small and using the discount code for a bigger order?
