Starting this in Reastie’s absence. Hope that’s ok.

Just had a look & it says same for me although when it calculates postage it’s £3.50 plus another fiver so only 50p more per item?
so works out £9.50 delivered for the mystery pack of 10 scarves…
I never ordered these in the end last year- were they any good?

Still says £1 per item for me, strange! Seem to recall people liked them last year though... Will have a think. Some nice stuff on the page

AchillesInHeels · 28/10/2023 22:16

Can anyone recommend the best place to get Orchard Toys games? I know Argos does 2 for £20 and apparently you can get some from Hobbycraft (already used my Craftober and Birthday £5 vouchers thanks to these threads!) but my local Hobbycraft doesn't stock them and I don't want to pay delivery. I have seen them in Aldi quite cheap before but I guess that's just luck of whether they are currently stocking them? I would be 100% happy getting second hand for my child but I'd prefer new for gifting. I have a Toy Town and Smyth's in my area but would need to pay to park for both of them. Trying to really pinch the pennies this year! Any tips on where else I could check gratefully received! Or other suggestions? I'm looking for games good quality, lightweight (for international postage), and suitable for age 2.

Was there a white company offer or code? I seem to remember something, but I can't find it.

WimbyAce · 28/10/2023 22:25

Anyone got experience ordering from the Disney store? Ordered on the 20th Oct and no sign of it yet. Estimated delivery was yesterday but doesn't even seem to have been shipped yet.

Gladysrocker · 28/10/2023 22:26

I have a £10 off a £30 spend at White Stuff if it’s any use to anyone?

Statsinyoureyes · 28/10/2023 22:33

Yes please!

Update on Jack's birthday Entertainer discount code. Googled it and it took me to the page, seems like I'm already signed up but never received a discount. No idea how you get there through account.

Smileatthesmallthings · 28/10/2023 22:58

@WimbyAce Send them an email and they'll send you a code. I never got one last year but they sent me one very quickly when I emailed and I've just received one yesterday so I must now be on a system.

For the person needing Julia Donaldson books - all the classics are ALWAYS in charity shops my
way in immaculate condition as people often donate doubles of gifts etc - worth checking especially in the next few weeks when parents have clear outs after half term! x

fishfingersandchipsagain · 28/10/2023 23:02

Was there a discount/offer on Redbubble or did I imagine it?

MarshmallowsOnToast · 28/10/2023 23:04

Ooh just seen more replies with kids book's recommendations. Really appreciate the info, will check them all out.

Thank you!

There was a large Orchard Toys bundle in the Sainsbury's sale, it was £6.50 for 4 x farm based games/puzzles. Boots have had them in their gift offerings before too. I've had some good ones at reasonable prices from Amazon, and you could set up an alert with the 3 Camels so you know you're getting a good price.

LostMyRubySlippers · 28/10/2023 23:19

@AchillesInHeels the works also have some multipacks on offer here

LostMyRubySlippers · 28/10/2023 23:20

Oh don’t think my linked worked! But search orchard toys on the works & there is 4 for £16 & 4 for £12- which includes shopping list game

I’m looking for some of the bargain thread Christmas magic. DS has a red combine harvester top of his list this year. The playmobil one looks absolutely perfect because it actually produces bales but it’s the old model. I’ve tried multiple times to buy from the playmobil reduced section but it won’t allow me to check out. I’ve found a seller on eBay but they aren’t boxed and I’m nervous they will be missing parts. Had no luck on marketplace. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks I’m advance

How far through are you getting? I can get through to the PayPal screen (though obviously don't want to check out by mistake!)

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 28/10/2023 23:38

Thank you for trying. I get past that, put my PayPal password in then it tells me it can’t process PayPal payments. If I try to use a card it says it can’t do spares.

AliasGraceful · 28/10/2023 23:40

Maybe try messaging them?

DeathStarCanteenGal · 28/10/2023 23:40

@fishfingersandchipsagain I had an email from Redbubble yesterday (Friday) saying 30% off site wide but saying it 'ends soon' - although I couldn't see when that was

1stTimeMama · 29/10/2023 00:12

The Bluey book advent is £9 for clubcard users in Tesco at the moment. I was tempted for my 3yr old today.
