PopcornAndGummyBears if you’ve been thinking about this for a year someone has to come to the rescue. You can send it to me to London and I forward it to you? Don’t know if the additional postage makes it worth it though…

Enid7 · 18/10/2023 17:36

@PlanBea the disney store has just released some lovely mickey mouse pirate toys, might be worth a look :)

InDreamland · 18/10/2023 17:41

@Realfastfoodie sorry, the vouchers I had I believe are single use, however, I think many of us on here get the Lakeland vouchers having signed up to their newsletter or something and get them. Sorry!

PopcornAndGummyBears · 18/10/2023 17:44

@Ilovecashews that is super kind, but yes, I think the additional postage would rather negate the bargain sadly.

DH actually works in London a lot, so there would potentially be the option to have them delivered to a colleague and then he brings them back in his carry on next week…. You’ve got me thinking!🤔

Ilovecashews · 18/10/2023 18:01

Or get it delivered to one of their shops and he collects from there, if possible?

PopcornAndGummyBears · 18/10/2023 17:20

Ragin’! I missed the bargainous mini waffle makers from Urban Outfitters last year and it’s irritated me all year - with 3 teenage girls they would have come in so handy for friends’ birthday gifts!

I got on this year and was excited to see the same offer - reduced by 50% to £11 and then an additional 10% off bringing it down to £9.90.

Put three of them in my basket only to be met with a message saying that they are only deliverable to mainland UK and as I live in NI I am out of luck - again! Angry

Do Dunelm deliver to you? They're also on sale there for a similar price and Shein also have them at that price point

DeathStarCanteenGal · 18/10/2023 18:12

@PopcornAndGummyBears I have surplus mini waffle makers....
I ordered 2 from UO last year but they sent me 6. so I could send you three if you want?
PM me if you want them. I didn't pay for them, so you could have them for postage?

PopcornAndGummyBears · 18/10/2023 18:15

@XiCi Dunelm do indeed deliver, but alas the waffle makers are in store only and are not available in any NI stores for click and collect. Thanks though!

PopcornAndGummyBears · 18/10/2023 18:18

@DeathStarCanteenGal that is so unbelievably kind! DH is going to ask one of his colleagues if we can get them delivered to his house and then he’ll bring them back next week (or the week after if they don’t arrive in time for next week).

Please donate them to a Christmas gift charity rather than send them to me - I’m sure there are teenagers in need who would love that wee treat, and I think I’ve found a way to get them. Thank you though - seriously, you are all so kind!

Mojodojocasahaus · 18/10/2023 19:12

B&M have waffle makers if that helps

LostMyRubySlippers · 18/10/2023 19:27

@PlanBea The Entertainer has a few pirate things that might be suitable - there’s a happyland pirate ship, grandad dogs pirate ship from Peppa pig & Also a Tomy pirate ship bath toy.
if you join the birthday club (& add an upcoming birthday!) you should be able to get a code for 20% off 3 weeks beforehand

Igglepiggleandhisboat · 18/10/2023 19:30

DH is very excited for his pending sock delivery 😂
thanks for whoever originally posted the deal. Will definitely order something else from WS after they handled it so well!

Twonka · 18/10/2023 19:43

I have a £10 off voucher for Boden too in case anyone keeps missing one, DM me

napsarelifewithtwo · 18/10/2023 19:59

@Xmasgifts it really depends on the store but I would say you'd be fine. The first year Aldi did the wooden stuff it flew out within hours but since then they have more volume available and it sticks about for a few days (item specific) if you go tomorrow you should be fine Smile

Hibernatalie · 18/10/2023 20:01

There's some good books in the 3 for £6 deal at The Works

bizzey · 18/10/2023 20:08

Any recommendations for beard oil or balm please .

Not sure if balm us less messy than oil.

Not quite sure what I am looking for .
Short beard.

WhereIsThisGoing · 18/10/2023 20:01

This looks like a great bargain (price matched at ELC) Leapfrog LeapPods Max £14.95

Never come across this before but reckon my DDs would love it, have ordered them one each - thank you!

CinnamonCoffee · 18/10/2023 20:25

If anyone has an Argos code please could they inbox me one. Thank you Smile

Twonka · 18/10/2023 20:36

I just got a coffee advent calendar, £5 off if you order before midnight on 24th

https://www.pactcoffee.com/christmas/advent-calendars

I bought one from YAWN last year from not in the high street which was amazing but even when they do their 20% off pact is much better value although I can’t comment on quality of pact though…

ill pop a referral code on the thread but I’m not sure what the deal is

Sainsburys sale seems to be reducing further Dow whatever is still in stock so it might be worth checking your local store - I got a Lego space rollercoaster today that was rrp £95, had been on sale at £64 (and still is in Argos and Amazon) reduced to £45 which I was happy with for a December bday. It's this one in Argos tho it's not as cheap there www.argos.co.uk/product/3117062?clickSR=slp:term:lego%2031142:1:572:1

They also had this hot wheels set reduced from £70 to £25 which is £10 cheaper than Amazon - Hot Wheels Track Set and Toy Car, Large-Scale Motorized Track with 3 Corkscrew Loops, 3 Crash Zones and Toy Storage, FTB65 amzn.eu/d/06Ii6kN
I guess it varies by what they have left in individual stores but worth a look I'd say

Givealittlebit · 18/10/2023 21:05

@PlanBea toot toot has had excellent play value from that age up to my 6 year old here! Also the happy land pirate ship was adored by my two and still comes out now. Happyland and toot toot are both always on fb marketplace round here if you're not opposed to second hand

Callmesleepy · 18/10/2023 21:07

@PlanBea given the age of the child could you not get secondhand pirate kit to open up all the options? I've also seen some lovely pirate party bits from Meri Meri if he's still into them come birthday season. There's also the option of a treasure chest and chocolate coins which would go down well.

Callmesleepy · 18/10/2023 21:08

Cross posted with @Givealittlebit , clearly we both have older pirate toys in mind 😂

ShangPie · 18/10/2023 21:16

@PlanBea no idea where to get this at a bargain price but it is a great toy - it works as a bath toy with a squirting cannon, as well as a dry toy

My local indie toy shop had one as part of a toy display play table, and my son LOVED playing with it
