In message two are the links and info from last year - if anyone has anything they'd like me to amend or add, please do tag me and I'll update.

A reminder not to post affiliate links in the thread but that MN do change amazon links shared by posters into MN affiliate links.

Please do watch the thread rather than post to mark place to make it easier for everyone to keep up and find relevant info.

That's fab thanks. What website did you buy through? Is it the Vodafone website?

Just very.co.uk discount Very50.

katmarie · 18/10/2023 13:35

Thanks for all the Aldi recommendations, I will get myself over there tomorrow! We already have a few of the aldi wooden toys and they are generally very good quality.

Fuckingfuckssake · 18/10/2023 14:17

Speaking of Airfryer, can anyone remember the little 1/2 person airfryer mentioned a while back? I can’t find it now I realise it’d be perfect for DM.

Fuckingfuckssake · 18/10/2023 14:18

By that I mean 1-2 people not half a person 🙄

Krawnprackers · 18/10/2023 14:30

I think it was studio.

Xmasgifts · 18/10/2023 14:44

Does anybody know from previous years if Aldi tend to sell out quickly on wooden toys? Wondering if the eBay reselling vultures get there first a lot?! Wanting to get toy kitchen and dolls house

Summertime16 · 18/10/2023 15:00

They used to sell online and go quickly but they don’t sell online anymore. Some Aldi’s by me have the stock out already. I suggest going tonight after 9pm (when they put the special buys out) or 8am tomorrow.

superstar84 · 18/10/2023 15:06

The Aldi airfryer is really good, we bought it for £35 and would be fine for one person

we’re upgrading this year as we’ve used it loads more than expected and are a family of 4 so wanting the 2 drawers

Justhereforthechristmasthreads · 18/10/2023 15:06

Just seen the degusta advent pop up on my facebook. £37.99 to pre order. Think this one has been popular on here before

Xmasgifts · 18/10/2023 15:21

13% off at Big Bobble Hats: https://bigbobblehats.co.uk/ today only. Free postage and packing. Recommended by someone on an earlier thread. I've ordered but not yet received.

gawditswindy · 18/10/2023 15:58

There are generally loads of kitchens, etc in my Aldi and they're there for a good while after being put out.

Room4onemore · 18/10/2023 16:02

that’s kind

PlanBea · 18/10/2023 16:05

@ThreeB @Needmoresleep89 that looks fab! I was just saying to DH you can tell we're in a post-Pirates of the Caribbean time as pirates don't seem to be cool any more. If he'd asked for this ten twenty years ago I'd have had my choice of toys. And realising POTC came out 20 years ago has just ruined my day! 😱

Thesoundofscience · 18/10/2023 16:19

Drone Home game on Amazon half price at £9.99. Also half price at Smyths.

This game went down quite well with my DCs last year.

Last time I tried to link it came up with a strange affiliate link so I won’t attempt to this time!

Morning all :) I am on the look out for some little toy groceries. I'm getting the kids a little supermarket shop set up for christmas, and I need stuff for them to buy/sell. I'd prefer wooden rather than plastic if possible. We already have the asda george sets of wooden food, we got those a couple of years ago, so I'm really looking for cans and packet type groceries if that makes sense! Has anyone seen anything bargainous?

We got cardboard sets from both waitrose and tk maxx. Be prepared to spend an evening constructing them all... I delegated to DH!! :D

Thank you so much! I have a big order to do this evening so that will help make it less painful!

MerylSqueak · 18/10/2023 16:36

Can anyone give me advice about phone printers for android please? I'm sure I remember there being a poster on here who'd worked out some really good ways of getting paper etc

PopcornAndGummyBears · 18/10/2023 17:20

Ragin’! I missed the bargainous mini waffle makers from Urban Outfitters last year and it’s irritated me all year - with 3 teenage girls they would have come in so handy for friends’ birthday gifts!

I got on this year and was excited to see the same offer - reduced by 50% to £11 and then an additional 10% off bringing it down to £9.90.

Put three of them in my basket only to be met with a message saying that they are only deliverable to mainland UK and as I live in NI I am out of luck - again! Angry

Theraffarian · 18/10/2023 17:25

Everything£5 has free postage and 5% off with the Martin Lewis code MSEAUTUMN , I did have to use a private browser and order as a guest as I’m pretty sure this is the same code as last year and I ordered then too. You do really need to spend some time picking out the good stuff amongst the dross though .
