Evening all! Joining later than usual this year despite enjoying a temporary retirement.

Dc will be difficult -ds will be 14 & dd 10. Neither need anything & have bought theatre tickets so far & toying with VR headsets or pool cues atm. Any ideas would be welcome.

I wish I had paid for express delivery rather than click and collect re: WS. Don’t know if/when they will arrive.

Just been into TKMaxx and they had some nice Steve Madden hat/scarf sets for £19.99 which I liked the look of - different colours/patterns. I would imagine they would go down well with mid/late teens.

Also - industrial quantities of Xmas diffusers from £5.99, (but I restrained myself as I went a bit mad on experimenting with Korean skincare purchases!)

I redeemed my £5 Hobbycraft voucher today on a mini painting set and paid a whole extra 30p.

I then used the 15% off towards a set of ceramic paint your own tree ornaments and a mini pumpkin, (because, well, why not?)

I spent the princely sum of £3.70 altogether.

Why I never discovered this place when my two were small is a mystery. I will definitely be back.

For anyone wanting the felting sets for <£5, they had the penguins and the lion/giraffe in my local store. I restrained myself as I already have done felting kits on the go atm.

I made the mistake of checking the thread last night just before going to bed and found the call of the 🐑 herd too strong so tried to order the socks advent calendar (which showed as available but wouldn’t go into my basket). Also tried to order some cute sloth decorations they have had on sale for ages that I keep thinking must order them and being too busy so not getting around to it and they had all gone too - so frustrating night all round and definitely not worth being awake and doing at 1am ish!

Hoping that thread 5 will have some fabulous bargains in very soon :)

Almost forgot: TK Maxx had some nice Xmas panetone too, as well as some good Korean skincare.

I put the bridal boxes in my basket this morning but we were going out so didn’t get round to checking out. Just went to complete my order and they are out of stock. 😫 Oh well, maybe I didn’t need more beauty products!
