My parents got me a free standing mirror that opens out and the whole inside of it is a jewellery case! There are some small shelves too and a bar - like the bar in a wardrobe. I'm not sure what the bar is supposed to be for but I'm absolutely thrilled with the mirror/giant jewellery case 😁

DH got me a fold-out screen with five panels. I've wanted one for aaages so when he asked me what I'd like for Christmas I suggested this. He didn't 'get' it, but he got it for me. He also got me a lovely perfume and a box of chocolates. And a waterpik.

DD(9) got me a big bar of chocolate.

I also received a pesto set (jar of pesto in a bowl/dish with a little tiny little wooden spoon) and a set of pyjamas,

A Christmas-themed dress,

A 2-candle and a reed diffuser set and a Ted Baker gift set (wash bag with body spray, wash and lotion in it,

I was spoilt rotten, had a bracelet and necklace from uno de 50 which I love. Beautiful turtle dressing gown and toiletry bag from Elizabeth Scarlett, an amazing luxury travel pillow which I trialed today for my post walk nap and was bloody awesome. Penhaligon perfume. Beautiful bunting made for me by my friend. I have been incredibly lucky. I love ready this thread as also got some money and fancy buying myself some indulgent rather than it going into the pot.

Best of all I got DD for a few days over Christmas as her Dad is on holiday abroad. She usually stays with her dad on the day and Boxing Day because he has limited time off work.

DH gave me a Welsh rose gold ring (I'm Welsh). Yes I cried. Also a vintage silver charm bracelet - I'd told him I'd always wanted one when I was a child but never got one.

DD gave me a moonphase watch (something else I'd always wanted as a kid/teen). But best of all, she hunted down a perfect working order Cue Ball. I first got one for Christmas 1982 and have talked about it fondly ever since. The hit of nostalgia when I opened it (and heard the game play sounds) was off the scale and yes, there were further tears.

Lots of chocolate and books and other bits and bobs too. I was very spoiled!

Charm bracelet! I intend to fill it with vintage silver and rose gold charms to mark events and so on. Or just leave it as it is because it's beautiful. It's hallmarked the year I was born.

Big box of Leonidas chocolates, perfume, half of Space NK, wetsuit, sunglasses, Disney+, a trip, a Kindle Scribe and lots of other little bits like gym wear and trainers.

What's the Scribe like? I'm considering one but was disappointed by the Oasis so not sure.
