I’m having Christmas Round 2 with my partner and her family this afternoon! 😍

Emma Bridgewater mug from my Sons lovely GF, A Dalmatian bag(Have the real thing here as well!) Leather Boots from DH ,Cashmere ,slippers and favourite perfume .Also Afternoon Tea voucher at really lovely boutique hotel overlooking the sea(We live by the coast) All in All well pleased with my gifts!

DH and i have never bought each other Christmas gifts.

DM lost everything in a house fire earlier this year and was thrilled to receive copies of her favourite photos that we had found and got printed and framed, plus a new Alexa and a sewing machine. Other relatives gave her new bedding. She’s now looking forward to moving back once rebuilding has completed.

From parents: a bag of goodies, books, sweets, rose and geranium bath oil, nice socks etc (My Mum paid for my ticket to the Nutcracker in November and really has way too many grandchildren to buy for now so I've asked her to stop buying for me but she still did this lovely bag of treats)

From youngest ds8: A lovely pair of slipper socks and some bath bubbles he chose at the school fair, he was so excited to give it to me and wrap it himself.

I was really pleased with my work secret Santa this year, I got a little pouch of sample sized Jo Malone scents and some nice Prosecco, I thought that was quite a thoughtful present and probably the nicest I've had from a secret Santa in years!

So pleased everyone seems to have had some amazing presents

The girls gave me the same as every year & I'm made up -

Two of my favourite candles, notebook and fancy pens, pj's and bed socks. They also gave me some new acrylic paints and brushes that I'd mentioned I wouldn't mind if they couldn't think of anything 🥰

I was also given some new boots for work (battered my old ones over 6 years & my cobbler told me not to take them back again after the last repair 🤣😢), and a lighted mirror which should make getting ready in the dark at 6am easier!

i got way more than I was expecting. Me and the kids got more this year than we’ve ever had. Been truly spoilt this year

A complete surprise, but a Dyson Supersonic hairdryer for Christmas. I know very little about them, but have wild hair, and it always takes me ages to get ready. I’ve also just started going back out on nights out after maybe 7/8 years! DH thought this might be a nice little something. Very grateful.

Also from DH, on behalf of DS and DD, a personalised necklace with their names on.

A camera tripod from my husband (this was a surprise gift but a well-chosen one); a decorated glass bowl from my parents plus a magazine subscription which is technically their present to DH but I read it too, and some wooden coasters themed to one of my hobbies from my sister. All lovely, thoughtful gifts.
