Curious to see how many presents people have under their tree.
I have two dcs and never think it looks enough, I just love to see their little faces light up in the morning.

This isn't a judgy thread I'm just genuinely curious.
Here's mine ours its just presents for 2 dc. Me and dp exchanged today.

Christmas Day is always at my house and these presents are for 8 grandchildren aged 6 months to 18 years old.

I am. Not putting pictures, I don't want to be judged. Yes, I have more than the needing, reading, wearing whatever thing, but nothing obscene. I grew up with very little, so did Dp. I have worked my way out of poverty, we both did, but the child who didn't get things is alive and kicking inside me. Yes, I sometimes seek to soothe that child by ensuring DC have things and I need to reign myself in. I am not materialistic and I do not want them to be. But it is Christmas and I want my children to have their minds blown for one day. I love that my son is convinced Santa is real because he "knows" I could not afford all the presents they get. I don't want to make people feel bad, I am definitely not up for entering into competitive gift giving shite etc. However, neither am I willing to apologise for what we do in our home.

Mostly for 5 year old daughter. Probably a birthday present for me from DH as it is my birthday as well. Merry Christmas everyone.

Don't fret I'm also shit at wrapping and seen as it gets torn off in 0.0001 seconds I don't feel so bad that it's wonky and crumply lol 🤣

Love all the cats popping up in photos. Santa not been here yet as I’m finishing my baileys first. But my cat says Merry Christmas.

We don’t wrap santas stuff, just the ones ‘from mum and dad’ I noticed everyone has theirs wrapped 🙈

I don't have a tree or presents. My son and loved ones are sadly not getting anything this year - no money.... however, I'm loving all the pictures on here :-)

Thank you. I changed the decorations this year because I fancied a change but I still stuck to my theme of ‘if there’s space just bung it on’.

I’ve had the large heart that’s in the middle for many years and for me it’s what
the whole day is about. And I seem to have missed getting my star in the picture but it’s equally as important as the heart. It’s very much in remembrance of my mum, something that reminds us of her, and every year we have a topping out ceremony when someone climbs the ladder and sticks nana on the tree just like the star she was. We have a good laugh and exchange a few memories of her, her penchant for what’s called hooker shoes nowadays is always brought up and if there are tears it’s because someone has been outrageous and we’re crying with laughter. Twenty five years after losing her and she’s still got it. ❤️

When I was a wee girl everything was laid out unwrapped on the couch and the living room chairs. Well that is all except presents from aunties etc who wrapped there’s up. Honestly it was the most beautiful and exciting of sights and no one laid out a couch and chairs like my mum.

I hide mine round the back and sides. Have 50 under the tree just now. More to add in the morning and more arriving next week.

Here's mine. Two teens and three adults :) I'm up at just after 3am (don't ask me why, I don't know!) I couldn't get back to sleep so I thought I'd come down and start on the food prep!

Think DH and I spent more time ‘animatedly’ discussing whether to put the bike together or leave it in the box, than him actually doing it! In the end not enough wrapping paper for the box so I won😀.
