Have plans to make a gingerbread house and a party food tea, but other than that nothing. Hoping for some inspiration

It's DHs birthday. So presents, birthday breakfast of bacon butties and coffee. Walk the dog. Then going bowling and out for tea.

Need to get a couple of bits from the shops then my mum is coming to stay for a few days. I'll be doing laundry as we're going away next week. I'll also make the bread sauce and dh will do the ham. Take away for dinner. We'll watch The Snowman and bed. Not sure how we're going to do the stockings this year. The dcs I know already will just not go to sleep until the early hours 😩

Will prep veg and leave in fridge. We have mass late afternoon and family calling.
bake cookies for Santa with dc (have fresh dough bought so it will be quick and easy)

once dc are in bed - hunt for the presents in the garage and have a few drinks

Doing butter/garlic/herby things to the turkey
Dropping them off at DMs

Making sausage rolls while DH fetches his DM

Preparing for a buffet tea as eldest DC is coming later

Prep the veggies cook the gammon, do some laundry, visit my grandmother, go for a coffee, do some last-minute shopping, pick up DS 1&2 from their DF's, make lunch, DC open their Xmas eve gifts, watch a Christmas movie, tidy up, DH and DD come home from visiting his parents, we all go for a walk once it gets dark to see all the christmas lights, visit my sister, head home, order take out, everyone showered and changed into pyjamas, eat take out and watch polar express, DC go to bed. Make some snowballs and wait for DC to fall asleep and get cracking with the presents before heading to bed ourselves.

Hoping dp manages to get the toy kitchen built and trying to occupy ds whilst he does which is going to be hard as he's 15 months old and will want to be crawling around 🙈🙈 I'm going to bake cookies for santa with him, hopefully think of some easy minimal mess craft activities to do with him and then I don't know as it's going to take him hours to build it 🙈

We're going to Toby Cavery for tea and then opening Christmas Eve boxes when we get back. Ds will then probably play for a bit and then it'll be time for bed. Then I need to wrap the last few presents and bake cookies 🙈🤣

It's the first Christmas Eve that I haven't worked in quite a few years. Up early as DH and DD are popping out for last few bits that weren't available in online shop and to pick up our stand pie from the local amazing pie shop.

Then DD1 is coming home around lunchtime and staying a couple of nights, really looking forward to seeing her and I need to put fresh bedding on in her old room.

Little bit of veg prep but not like previous years as there is only the 4 of us on Christmas Day.

2 last large presents to wrap but have run out of gift wrap so that's left until tomorrow.

Then I suppose it will be baileys, easy snacky food, Christmas Eve TV and waiting for the big man!

Butcher will be delivering in the morning so I’ll be trying to squeeze everything in the fridge.
Cleaning, I was going to do it this afternoon but ended up bathing and trimming both dogs and it took longer than I was hoping for.

Lie in (not working and no kids), long dog walk, pamper, going up my parents to help with prep, M&S buffet in the evening.

Xmas tree crumpets for breakfast. Cleaning and tidying the house in the morning, and cooking The Christmas Ham. We'll watch some kind of xmas themed thing on TV probably. Around 3pm we're planning to walk into town, get takeaway hot chocolates/coffee and look at the lights. Popping in for a little kids carols by 'candlelight' (glow sticks) service at church on the way back. Home for ham, bread and cheese with wine (for me, not DC), all the santa stuff and (hopefully) an early bedtime for everyone.

Dinner prep, checking the fridge to make sure we've got everything, take DS out for a good play/run around to wear him out in the hope he'll sleep till at least 6am!

Hoping to watch the new knives out film with a glass or two of wine tomorrow night.

Cleaning, prepping as much food as I can, watching Muppet Christmas Carol with the quality street tin

Buying the last of the food, taking dog a long walk, a couple of Christmassy things with the kids, final tidy, film and treats at night along with Christmas Eve box.

Same 😞 all 12 hours of it.

Tidying and preparing veg, possibly preparing the turkey if I CBA.

Working until 8pm. And back at 7am Xmas day 😭

Trying to cram in everything that should have been done this week...cleaning, wrapping, prepping, dragging our extra table out of the garage. DH and I have both been out of action for several days with a virus so we're really far behind 😭

But of a tidy round\clean up in the morning, then an afternoon nap! Out in the evening to see a band and have drinks with friends. Then home for nightcap before the family arrives en mass for Christmas day.

Trying to polish off some last bits of work, finishing cleaning and tidying the house, and wrapping some final presents. DH taking 3-year-old DS for a walk to the shops to buy a Christmas present for the cat (get him out of my way while I scrub frantically) and then start drinking well before the in-laws arrive.

Picking up our ordered veg and a chicken from the farm shop plus any extras we need.
Making the gingerbread house and sugar cookies.
Then we're going to a torchlight Carol service in a park.

Making the table for my sister ready for Sunday. I have to make a garland, dress the table.

Getting a curly blow.

Then home to make starters and our dessert.

Pack our bags for my sisters - lounge clothes and the dogs stuff.

Then fucking chill. I have some special brownies. I am having one once everything is done and then I am going to watch all the specials. I've saved motherland especially. Jamas on. Heating on if the boiler is fixed. If not just wrap up with blankets.

I'm going vegan in the new year for at least five days a week. I really want to cut meat etc from my diet. Can you please share or message me your recipe?

Making mince pies & decorating Christmas biscuits for Santa with Dd, 4 in the morning. She’ll do crafts, making snowflakes for the windows etc with Dh.
We’ll probably take the dog for a walk to the beach/woods, Christmas Eve goodies, carpet & tent picnic, then The Grinch with popcorn & treats & The snowman etc. Things left out for Santa, Christmas stories and cuddle up ready for the morning
