Anyone else bought themselves a little gift (or two) this year?

I've decided to treat myself to a box of Christmas chocolates from Hotel Chocolat. I'm into fitness/running and nobody every buys me chocolate at Christmas because they think I'll disapprove?! (Definitely not the case!) Every year I watch everyone else opening their chocolates with envy...

I got myself the L'occitane advent calendar. All treats are mine!!!

A cheap version of the Philips Lumea, a bath bomb which has a surprise ring inside, some chocolates and I am now tempted by some Wolf and Badger Slippers but I might see if they get cheaper in the Jan sales...

I'm getting myself a better camera and a professional photo editor as I'm really aiming at working on my photography and editing skills this next year.

I saw a lighthouse ceramic in a local art gallery in town when I was buying DH an anniversary present last month. It's a beautiful, detailed piece of work, with tiny seagulls, and a space to put a tea light for the 'light' at the top. I mentioned it to DH who was lukewarm so I'm going to buy it for myself (either 'from' the dog, or my late DPs) and put it in my office.

Also a secret box of Leonidas chocolates.

I just bought myself some new shoes after mine literally fell apart at work today, does that count?

I bought myself a gorgeous framed drawing of a hedgehog at the Worcester Christmas Fayre I attended at the weekend. I have a pair of pyjamas especially for Christmas Eve. They aren’t Christmassy so I will wear them all year round.

Every Christmas and Easter DH and I buy a large box of hotel chocolat each. We don’t really get any other Christmas food treats or snacks. We have the first one on Christmas Eve. It’s a tradition.

Yes I have. I specifically put money aside through the year by a little saving where I can and also selling my old bits on Vinted or ebay. I prioritise bills and my DS all through the year and am on a low income so I feel it's ok to treat myself! I've bought during Black Friday so made the most of discounts and got two lovely sweatshirts, a pair of Suzy D ultimate joggers and a pair of soft gold trainers from Hush. Came to around £150. Will stick them under the tree for Xmas day 🙂

I’ve got myself a Nars lipstick, a Xmas jigsaw, a cheesy Xmas book and the M&S light up box filled with chocolate (on the basis I’ve finished my shopping for everyone else 😊)

Single mum here so have to buy my own. An oodie, gold earrings, perfume, smellies, cashmere bed socks, nars make-up, planner from papier which I love.

I bought myself the perfect mug today.
It's my favourite colour, a good size and shape, nice weight and chunkiness. It was very £££ for a mug, which is why it's a present.

I’ve bought myself a gift set of Dior make up.

I've bought myself a new needlepoint kit from Erhman, sparkly hair clips from FatPomPoms, a black dress with gold stars on it from Muthahood, cross stitch accessories, and I'm thinking about a subscription to Dermatica (hoping to get some tret but afraid of the initial bad skin from the "purge").

I got myself a cute bag with puffins on it and stuff to put in my stocking.

I've bought myself a voucher for afternoon tea and a lovely emerald green velvet jewellery box

@MerlinsButler I have a very generous pet too,, so far my cat has got me a cashmere jumper, a book, some silk hair bobbles and perfume. She still needs to get chocolate, nice soaps and pyjamas. She’s not great at wrapping so I’ll do it for her.

My (as yet non existent) pets have so far bought me:

A new handbag and since I've finally decided on the decor theme for our new home, I"ll also be buying some new decor! ☺️

I’ve ordered myself a hoodie from my university. DS1 is currently applying to unis and it’s made me nostalgic

A week holiday with my kids and a daughter in law. Egypt in february. . Divorced in august. Fuck it all, it Will be so Nice to be just us ❤️
