Do Americans really decorate .....

Every room and outside at Christmas ir is it just in the cheesy Christmas films currently on Netflix and the like ? I mean poinsettias and wreaths in the kitchen and huge displays outside ? In many ways it's amazing but is it just in the films ????

I’m in the U.K. and my house is decorated inside and out. Christmas ornaments in my bedroom, nothing in en-suite (too small). Tree and ornaments in DSs room. DDs old room is only used for exercise equipment so not decorated. Main bathroom has Christmas ornaments. DHs office has decorations visible when on video meetings. All hallways and banisters decorated. All rooms downstairs decorated. Outside decorated. It takes a couple of weekends to get it all up!
