Who has their tree and decs up?

I usually put mine up around the beginning of December, DH is usually happy to leave it to me and doesn't usually have any festive cheer until he's finished work for Christmas. This year is different though, he's already watched Christmas films with dd who's 7 and he's mentioned putting the tree up this weekend. I'm not sure if it's too early? On the other hand if he's found his festive cheer I'm going to enjoy it, christmas is my favourite time of year and I'm usually desperate for him to be more festive 😂

Have you never had an advent calendar? Advent is the period of preparation for Christmas starting from the fourth Sunday before Christmas (late November/early December).

In our house advent just means we have a good excuse to eat a chocolate every day. We’re not religious so Christmas means presents, parties, travel to see family, too much food and drinks!

We aren't churchgoers, but buying presents and Christmas food, writing cards, making decorations with children and starting to decorate the house are all still preparing for the Christmas season.

Do you eat it in order, counting down to Christmas? You know you can buy chocolate cheaper by the bar if you just want chocolate?

My sister sent me a picture of her Christmas tree earlier, she usually leaves it until later so I'm edging towards putting it up tomorrow. Christmas decorations and fairy lights make me happy so sod it!
