My koala oodie arrived. Definitely not a genuine Oodie. Good enough to gift though and I can't see anything wrong with it. No labels and quite smelly, sort of a burnt smell; I'll need to wash it.

mac1974 · 17/11/2022 13:52

Thanks to this thread I think I'm pretty much done. Tomorrow is my last day off work that I've got no plans and no kids around for a solid 5 hours so I'm planning to get all of their bits wrapped up. I'm actually excited to get them done.

Threeboysandadog · 17/11/2022 13:52

My dark green dog Oodie has arrived. It, and my Avocado one, have a poorly cut off “Oodie” label on the pocket and the plain navy one is exactly the same size and thickness so I believe they are genuine. I’d have loved one in a Oodie bag but as they are for my own dc, it’s not that important.

I have failed to get the bargain chocolate.

If anyone had a spare Boden voucher I would be very grateful.

some Argos codes if anyone can use them.

@Famousthehero my boy loved roboalives at that age. We have a huge collection of dinos and snakes and lizards etc. Noisy though!

Idilliedanddallied · 17/11/2022 13:58

@Cuwins Try the Eden project shop, they usually have lots of water bottles.

MarshmallowsOnToast · 17/11/2022 14:15

If anyone sees Baileys Tiramisu or Eton Mess flavours anywhere I would be very grateful of a heads up, please!

IggyAce · 17/11/2022 14:17

My mum wants a new water bottle for Christmas. I could just get a boring Tesco one but I know she would like one with some eco credentials, her last one was brought at Kew Gardens and made of sugar cane! So has anyone got any suggestions?
It doesn't need to keep drinks cold or anything like that. Needs a sports type top not one you have to unscrew. Probably not metal as I think she would find the outside very cold- she gets cold hands

I would try TK Maxx for this - they often have lovely ones

oriel2013 · 17/11/2022 14:24

Does anyone have an Argos code they could share please?

The 2 for 20 offer still has a good selection including the Duplo bath time friends and a Lego technic car that are both at least £15 each elsewhere

@IsThisIt2021 No I’m in the East Midlands. I’ve never had 2 guys deliver anything so thought it was strange as it’s not a 2 man parcel!

chocolateisavegetable · 17/11/2022 14:42

I am now nervous about 2 Amazon delivery drivers judging me as they deliver 3 giant bars of chocolate

stuckasachildagain · 17/11/2022 14:45

Anyone know where to purchase an adults telescope please? DS 15 attending a astronomy meeting at school and is unbelievably hard to buy for so thought this might be an idea . Thanks

ZIGGY911 · 17/11/2022 14:46

@Lochjeda not sure if what you are after but Gruum has a half price sale on their gift boxes. Lovely smelling soaps etc

polmnlj · 17/11/2022 14:51

@stuckasachildagain We both ours from a shop but it's very difficult to use. Only Dh manages it. I would contact your local astronomy club and ash them. Ds used to go to young astronomers club but it was repetitive so he quit. Dd is still going. They have several telescopes to try and they are helpful.

Think there's a bit of buddying / training going on as they recruit temp drivers from now till Christmas.

stuckasachildagain · 17/11/2022 14:59

@polmnlj thanks for that. Makes sense! Will see if the club has any suggestions Smile

cymrumam · 17/11/2022 14:59
