I know a lot of people look for Lego deals and offers. I saw this on Hot UK Deals they also have a list of specific sets that have extra VIP points or offers.

For LEGO's Black Friday event it is split into two events:

  • VIP Weekend - November 19th - 20th. Promos and offers open to all LEGO VIP members (free to join)
  • Black Friday / Cyber Monday weekend - November 25th - 28th. Promos open to all customers with or without VIP memberships

@CoffeethenCrochet Cricut machines were in lots of the Black Friday sales last year , I may get emails from one too many craft sites though so can’t remember which were best , maybe create and craft .

the chocolate was back on Amazon but at £2.99 and still didn’t want to add to my basket , so getting a little jealous now !

New poster here who has finally given in and started shopping!
We're cutting back this year and older dc will likely get vouchers/ cash but our youngest ds is 8 and obsessed with chickens. I know it's a bit niche but if anyone has seen anything quirky or cool and chicken themed please share 🙄
I have no bargains to share sadly but if and when I find any I shall share!

ColeXander · 17/11/2022 15:32

Just go an email saying my Candy Motrens order has finally been dispatched!

Anyone seen any decent bubble tea kits? Or where to buy the separate bits (not that I know what that is). Need to buy 3 for teens so looking for something substantial,

Not exactly cool but I keep wishing I knew somebody into chickens so I could give them this book: Chickenology

There’s a Chickenology jigsaw too I see x

I’m looking at the bubble panda starter kit currently at £25. Just waiting for a date closer to Christmas. It seems to have everything in it though and comes with a cup.

I thought this was about potatoes and was getting very excited. However if it’s arts and crafts rather than food then it’s really disappointing 😅

Can anyone recommend a decent plug in diffuser but not too pricey? I have a Neom one and I'm loving it but just wondering if there is anything out there as good but not as expensive?!

I got one from Oliver bonas last year, think it was £45. Looks lovely and has been going strong all year.
I’ve recently picked one up from Asda for £15 (think it’s back up to £18 now though) for my DD for Christmas, can’t confirm how good it is though

On this note we have done a (free) personalised message from Santa from Portable north pole the last few years.

My daughter was so excited when Santa said her name last year 🥲

Thank you! Just did one of the free video messages for DS, he’s going to love it!

Sorry @Mycatisalwaysangry it is a craft machine rather than food 😆

@SueGray and @tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz do the Celtic & Co sheepskin slippers come up true to size or should I size up? Been looking at getting a decent pair for someone as a present and after a look, these look perfect!

Now mine are old as the hills however I got this pair massively discounted as my mate worked in one of their factories at the time so I wasn't able to return them. For this reason I reckon I went for my usual size and they have been fine. Their website does say they stretch a bit with wear so don't be tempted to size up.

Maybe give them a call? That £20 code I'm sure is good u till the end of the year so there's no danger of missing out.

tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz · 17/11/2022 15:51

I actually tried a cheaper brand after a recommendation on here but they weren't a patch on my old faithfuls. Plus and I know this sounds very nit picky but their branding had union flags everywhere but they were made in china Confused

Can you recommend any of the body spray flavours for a 12 year old dd please?

ImHavingAnOldFriendForDinner · 17/11/2022 16:07

Thanks @Georgieporgie29 that one looks great.

SugarCookieMonster · 17/11/2022 16:09

@Georgieporgie29 the PINK brand ones are really lovely. I had Warm & Cozy and the Fresh & Clean ones, both are quite sweet and light which is nice for younger girls.

Petal7 · 17/11/2022 16:12

@hairycabbage , I got my dd a pair of chicken leg socks on Amazon. She loved them!

This is only £6 in Argos, my dd8 got it for her birthday and loved doing it. For £6 it's great as an extra little present.

Crayola Butterflies

Also while I'm on a roll of asking for stuff if anyone knows of any good kids craft kits then please let me know. Doesn't even have to be craft just stuff that she can make or do rather than toys. She's 8.5. Thanks!
