@6poundshower thanks for the title. A stocking finger sounds far too small to fit many bargains in though! 🤣

Apologies for belatedly setting this up - was at a primary tour for potential school for ds and then working. Pesky RL! Hope you can all find me.

The jumper looks like something you'd get in marks and Spencer or any other mens department really

Itsallyellow22 · 05/11/2022 17:57

If anyone is real life shopping tomorrow lakeland have an offer of a free wax lyrical candle with any purchase for mylakeland members. It's called Fresh Linen. I had a couple of bits to buy anyway so a nice bonus.

Puffalicious · 05/11/2022 18:05

PP looking for a home magazine subscription. My sister bought me Your Home last year and it's been great. Not sure if they're doing a gift buy worth looking. It's usually about £23-25ish for the year.

Puffalicious · 05/11/2022 18:11

Looking for ideas for very hard to buy for retired BIL. £50-60 budget.

Nothing to wear (been there done that!).
He's not a reader/ cook/ gardener/drinker of wine/ not into restaurants/ into many hobbies.

We've done artwork/ cheese subscription/ personalised cheese board/ posh vodkas in the past. I'm stumped this year, truly stumped.

We adore him, particularly my youngest DS who he's very close to, but he's a nightmare!

psuedocream3 · 05/11/2022 18:18

@PeeJayDay You'd think so but I have looked online everywhere I can think including M&S, with no luck. It may be a job for the outlets. Relly stumped with this one.

This one? Celtic and Co have them but they're £££.

Other pics- Fatface and Gandy's- around 50% wool but both good sustainable values.

Any good?

@PeeJayDay They do similar in Hollister but I don’t think they’re wool

Blessedbethefruitz · 05/11/2022 18:35

I need ideas for a turning 4 year old girl who likes Disney and amazing spidey, but not lego. I'm stumped lol, my girl is still a baby... Never been to her home to find clues

hiredandsqueak · 05/11/2022 18:38

Thank you @Beingacatbed for the heads up on the Joules slippers. Bought some for ds to give to dd. £5.95 and free delivery what's not to like?

I'm not sure if this is within your budget but The Works have a beautiful Disney Story compendium in at the moment.

psuedocream3 · 05/11/2022 18:45

Thanks @Puffalicious the Paul james looks the closest, the fat face one may be OK, the fat face one looks too dark but I'll order both to see the quality. Thank you again.

Blessedbethefruitz · 05/11/2022 18:47

@ThreeB that's absolutely beautiful but over budget - it's my little boy's best friend's birthday, her mum would kill me if I spent that much! I will check the works though. I usually get jigsaws/crafts/consumables, but this is a special friend so I want it to be perfect.

How did you get free delivery, please? It's the bird ones I have my eye on, £11.95, but loathed to pay postage.

My pleasure. Mam used to use Paul James, she rated them.

We have someone similar in our family. A hedgehog house was an unexpected hit one year! I now get photos and videos of the inhabitants every now and again 😁
