Looks like John Lewis etc will be released back end of the coming week, based on last year.

I know Very is out already.

This is TKMaxx. Underwhelming I thought.

I'm interested to see what the tone is this year with a lot of people struggling with cost of living... maybe less extravagant and more saving?!

I think the Asda one is my favourite so far this year!

I also like the Sports Direct and Aldi ones giving a nod to the World Cup.

I'm putting a bet (virtual) on the John Lewis one being clips of a family gathering around the Queen's speech through the years, showing various retro TVs, interiors and toys. Then cutting to this year - modern, stylish JL decor - and watching the King's speech on an expensive TV set up. Strapline something to do with JL being a constant in a changing world.

Soundtrack a whimsical rendition of something by Queen 😬

(None of this would explain the mysterious bears that are popping up in store, according to that RT article though...)

Not impressed with any of the offerings so far. The M&S (not food) one is awful! Sainsbury's with Alison Hammond is the one that's warmed my chilly heart most.

I quite liked Sainsburys, love Asda and think Tesco is pretty a la mode. Although they'd be screwed if we get a snap election....

Aldi so far is the best followed closely by asda.
John Lewis will have to pull it out of the bag this year, now everyone is jumping on the bandwagon. They’ve slacked the last few years.

Im going for Thursday during Im a Celeb for it to launch!

They usually put it on social media in the morning before it gets its first TV airing. Often that's the only time I see the full version as the TV one gets cut down!

@IamChipmunk I too like Lidl one except for it having zilch to say about Lidls products. I like getting excited for Christmas food.

Sainsburys had a good idea but Alison is no actress is she and not a baddie. And that end pudding looks rubbish ( flaming blue one at the start looks much more medieval).
Asda is clever but over plats it and just rehashes the film.
I like Tesco’s one best so far . Lots of food and I like the political irony.

I agree about Sainsburys @lightisnotwhite it isn't as good as it could have been!

I'm looking forward to the full Aldi one.

I probably shouldn’t be on this thread, because I couldn’t give a shit, I have no interest at all about Christmas adverts. I absolutely adore Christmas, but big retailers and their false humanity to grab your ££ don’t add anything to my sense of Christmas at all.
