On another thread lots of people mentioned they were hoping to buy tickets. Just a heads up that if you preorder the album on her UK site today you’re eligible for a ticket presale code.

I had the midnights presale but also registered for the general sale in case I wasn't lucky. Am I right that not everyone who registered will get a code for the general sale and if they don't they go on a wait list? Do you think they will filter out those who had presale codes and used them? Not even sure whether that is possible but just curious.

So the registration for the general sale is a pretty much a ballot to get an access code (which allows you to try for tickets), everyone else gets waitlisted.

Ticketmaster have said they "are not allocating the codes for anyone that registered for this presale" so if you had a presale code don't expect to be getting anything. We will see how it plays out.

Okay I'm fine with that as got our tickets in the presale so it's only fair but I hope everyone else with a presale code got tickets!

Fair enough not to allocate codes if you have tickets but a presale code did not guarantee tickets so that's a bit out of order I think.

I'm not sure. It's impossible to let everyone who wants a ticket to have one so there will always be people who are disappointed.
People with presale codes have had one chance. I think it probably better to have as many people as possible getting 'one chance'. Than fewer people getting multiple chances.

I'd love to see the actual statistics of it all though. I wonder how many people actually want tickets compared with how many people get tickets.

I think I saw something along the lines of (for the US tour) you had about a 2% chance of success of getting a ticket. That seems a bit mental though, not sure if true.

I think the FAQ for the Midnights presale means that Ticketmaster weren’t responsible for allocation of Midnights presale (as the was the label/fan club) were responsible for that. I think being allocated a Midnights presale code shouldn’t have a bearing on getting general sale codes.

So I got as far as picking my tickets in thr Madrid sale.
Then it said sorry not available.

You probably need to keep refreshing. Other people may have put them in their 'baskets' but may then release. I had to keep refreshing for one of the London dates- availability kept changing.

No code. I don't know if the system is clever enough to know I got tickets through my midnights code and won't send me the general sale code, or if I just didn't get picked for a code.

I don't need the code now, but I am curious as to how clever the code system is.

Anyone able to say where the different price level (pl) seats are? Not the VIP tickets, just the regular seating.

Also are side view better than the straight in view seats? West/east vs south stand.

Be wary of the ones saying side view - there are some that are basically slightly behind the stage. And they are not the cheapest ones either.
