On another thread lots of people mentioned they were hoping to buy tickets. Just a heads up that if you preorder the album on her UK site today you’re eligible for a ticket presale code.

Happy shopping, and may the odds be ever in your favour.

So pleased for you!!! I wish i'd held my nerve for Wembley as finding accommodation in edinburgh a nightmare (we might end up staying in Glasgow at this rate) but I think i'd have had a nervous breakdown by now!!

Yes the Edinburgh accommodation thing really annoying. Maybe they will open up student accommodation or something closer to the time (or catch the overnight train back down to London- is it midnight it leaves Edinburgh?).

RP90 · 12/07/2023 12:00

@kingofcats try south Queensferry or even Dunfermline/Fife way...they might be slightly cheaper and its not far at all.

christmastreefarm · 12/07/2023 12:14

@KingofCats

I have an edinburgh premier inn to release. I am not allowed to transfer but happy to cancel at an agreed time to see if you can grab it. Friday and Saturday night.

Thank you so much! Unfortunately there’s 8 of us so one premier inn room would just scratch the surface but I’m really grateful for the offer!

@SirSamVimesCityWatch they are the gold ones. Works out at a touch over £300 each 😱

SirSamVimesCityWatch · 12/07/2023 14:32

Yowser! Mind you, comparable with the official packages sold, so probably a good deal actually!

Jigslaw · 12/07/2023 15:44

I got 2 tickets for Cardiff! I thought it'd be really hard as it's the only date, so will have 2 tickets for Wembley for sale for face value, guessing they'll sell at some point!

Doteycat · 12/07/2023 15:48

Code for Madrid tmro received.
Must remember the time difference.
Not holding out much hope, fully expect TM to crash, there is one concert in the whole of Spain.

ChillinwiththeVillains · 12/07/2023 15:49

Just went back in out of curiosity and managed to get another two tickets (high up and seated but full view apparently, were cheaper than standing ). So will keep until last minute allowed by the ticketmaster resale and let her choose if she would rather be dancing with just me or high up with a buddy. And before giving any unwanted to ticketmaster I will offer to friends who didn’t have the code but whose kids are desperate for tickets if not. As I will be present so can get them in with my name. I think the earlier time has put people off or everyone has used up their presale codes.

fuckmyuteruslining · 12/07/2023 21:38

It's so good to see people getting tickets. Yes it's a stress, yes it costs but we're in Grin

Anyone know what it's like getting out of Wembley and getting the tube after an event?

90 minutes.....maybe more. That's for Wembley Park. I've walked to Wembley Central before and got straight on tube but it's a 20 minute walk I think.

euff · 12/07/2023 23:11

Thanks @christmastreefarm. I really don't want to drive but wasn't sure if tube the right choice with DD. We aren't really far enough away to justify a hotel and it seems the closest reasonably priced ones are already booked anyway!

DD got out very quickly after Harry styles last month and was on the tube within 30 minutes but she says she managed to walk a different quieter route just by accident!

christmastreefarm · 13/07/2023 05:59

@euff

I don't know what we will do - we are other side of London so no issue to get home but my DD is going solo.

She will only be 16 so don't really fancy her coming home alone at that time but no idea how we will meet: as far as I can work out my best option might be just to meet her at London Bridge or similar - or work out if we go via Wembley central if we can have somewhere to meet she can walk to. But at least if I go London bridge I know there's loads of other people around and she won't get lost following the crowd.

euff · 13/07/2023 06:36

@KingofCats that's good. I was pretty much planning on following the crowd and hoping everyone is behaving nicely.

euff · 13/07/2023 06:43

@christmastreefarm that's the direction we will be going! We are in Bexley borough. Your DD doesn't know anyone else going? I think the things that worry me most is not being able to get on a tube and then train before they finish and any crowd problems but I guess these will be managed and swifties will be well behaved! Friend is wanting to drive which i don't mind if she's happy to do it but I'm not sure I want to do it to and from an event.

She is just happy going solo. Think she finds it easier not having to take other people's preferences into account. she did first solo gig (small local) venue at 14, did o2 last month and has a few more inc wembley arena coming up. So we can use that one as an opportunity to practice the journey.

We can get a bus home from morden end of northern line so hoping we shouldn't get stuck.

We are going as a family to Liverpool one so hopefully can work out timings etc.

We got a cab once for a young voices type event from the arena and as I didn't know the area I found it a nightmare experience trying to locate them.

Fantina · 13/07/2023 08:39

My DD and her friend are going together and I had planned to wait in Wembley, I presume that will be possible?

KingofCats · 13/07/2023 09:10

If driving to Stanmore is an option for you, DD (16) got there very quickly after Harry Styles. I know you're probably the wrong side of London.

I saw the Reputation Tour there a few years ago! There was obviously a huge amounts of people trying to get the tube, they had crowd control staff guiding where to go, and they stop you at certain point like crossing roads, and also they only let certain amounts into the tube station at a time so as to prevent too much crowding on the platform. Can't remember how long it took, it was a little while, but everyone was compliant with rules and it felt very safe and calm and wasn't ages and ages.

I have heard from DH who saw a football match there recently (he drove rather than staying in London) that most people are going back into central London after events, so if you park somewhere so that when you leave Wembley you are going further out then it is much quicker.

euff · 13/07/2023 09:31

@christmastreefarm true having other people does bring complications.

euff · 13/07/2023 09:31

@KingofCats I will look that up and see thanks.

euff · 13/07/2023 09:33

Thank you @SummaLuvin its good to know that it's all well managed and safe. I guess they deal with it all the time and have it sorted now even on this level!

tryingsomethingnew · 13/07/2023 09:33

So.....whose waiting for a code to come by tomorrow midnight? Those of us who registered a couple of weeks ago?

We'll get a code and then it starts on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday next week?
