That's so kind @RainbowZebraWarrior - it's kind deeds like this that give this thread a bit of Christmas magic!

I was about to say exactly the same!

christmaspudding43 · 01/09/2022 21:33

I get why people don't understand the turtle doves love but I'm very chuffed with the offer - I've bought them before and am loving getting a genuine bargain from a small company that has good eco credentials and which isn't a glitch. For me it is making a refreshing change to the normal amazon stuff!

AlternativelyWired · 01/09/2022 21:59

I've been to the Turtle Doves shop in Shrewsbury and I'd never heard of them before. The shop is lovely and the staff very friendly.

Yalz · 01/09/2022 22:05

My M&S has lots of pink rainbow bath bombs and other bath products reduced to 49p and 99p. My favourite was the bath dust reduced to 49p from £6. The yellow stickers looked easy enough to remove if they are for gifts.

I saw a different selection of half-price food items than earlier in the week, including chocolates, fudge and boring things like freezer bags. In the fridge section they have Thick Prosecco Cream which has an expiry date of over a week, which is fine for fresh cream. It's 89p, was £3:50, and is delicious.

Crimsonbow · 01/09/2022 22:05

Gutted I missed the gin deal now, I'm about half way through a bottle of that Brass Lion gin that I got on a different deal and it's really nice!

RicherThanYew · 01/09/2022 22:20

For anyone who does real life shopping and purchases a bargain with the irritating yellow sticker, I highly recommend the product in the photograph below. I use mine all the time and it sorts it out without fail, as a bonus, it smells of oranges 😂 it's £2.88 at the moment on Amazon and a tiny amount goes a long way so it's a good investment.

@RainbowZebraWarrior thank you so much! That really is so kind. My dad would love that!
I will pass the good dead on, I promise.
I'm moving and forced downsize (none by choice) so I've given away a lot (a car full and more) of items to a DV and homeless women shelter over the past week, so I promise I'll pass on a good dead.
❤️❤️

The RNLI online shop has a nice sale on at the moment

Yalz · 02/09/2022 01:05

Thank you to @Carrotmum for posting about the RNLI sale

There are lots of great bargains suitable for Christmas presents, for example this page of Toys, Games and Hobbies, and Emma Ball teatowels, chopping boars and tins for £2.50 - £3.

Free delivery over £50 (which could include donations), and it's all in a good cause.

Yalz · 02/09/2022 01:08

chopping boards
They are too small to be used to chop boars

Joevanswell · 02/09/2022 04:00

just Had a £5 off £15 on Amazon, I clicked through from a link on Facebook. It said selected accounts. Will try to get Dh to post link in the morning, but through playpennies. Hope that helps someone x

Lovely things. I know some people brought a 'x in a tin' toy from John Lewis in the sale. The ocean version is here at a good price

sorryiasked · 02/09/2022 05:28

Brand Alley have Christmas duvet sets from £11 for a single

ArtOfTheImpossible · 02/09/2022 05:47

Be careful with that foam soap. I put through 2 so should have been 82p. Clicked e on the quick buy button on amazon then almost had s heart attack when it said my order came to over £30. Went on, checked and cancelled - they have postage as £29.99 (and I have prime but still charged). Thankfully I was able to cancel quickly.

ChristmasCwtch · 02/09/2022 06:11

Morning - my Amazon app shows £7 off next delivery hub order (as in collect from one of those box thingys)

ChristmasCwtch · 02/09/2022 06:19

Motherofalegend · 02/09/2022 06:46

Morning all, delivery updates. I’d ordered from TOPC and whilst I was disappointed some things didn’t arrive, what dad was great and really good quality. I emailed about the missing items and one I wasn’t particularly happy with (tin of plasters and one had been ripped from the strip) refund came through quickly.

Craft gin arrived yesterday and I also got the Brass Gin one with next year dates on.

Re Turtle Dove label query on eBay gloves, I bought ones directly from turtle doves and looking at the pics posted here of eBay ones, I think the label they’re referring to is the paper one which holds the gloves together. Each pair of mine had a paper wrap, eBay ones don’t look like they do.

NightOwl101 · 02/09/2022 06:53

mac1974 · 01/09/2022 20:31

@NightOwl101 the craft gin offers come up every couple of months or so. Might be worth keeping an eye out. I think this is about the 3rd one I've got but I have a feeling I paid £20ish on the last couple. Still good value though inc snacks and tonics.

Thank you I'll keep an eye out and hope another comes up soon
