I’m obsessed with my Turtle Doves. They’re just so cosy and soft and the turquoise colour is beautiful. I might keep all 3 pairs for myself 😂

My gin arrived - the brass lion one - snacks dated end of jan but I’ll be gifting for an end of oct birthday anyway. However dh will not find the cider as I’ve already drunk it 😂

I seem to recall Angostura bitters can be used in champagne cocktails - a dash of bitters, brandy and champagne.

I've ordered 4 pairs of Turtle Doves for a few birthdays coming up. Fingers crossed they're in good condition to give as gifts otherwise I'll have to keep them all for myself!

I also really really don't get the turtle dove hype. Can't think of anyone that I buy for that would want them either.

Do I need the gloves for wfh while babies are at nursery? I've had the heating on in previous years (7 years wfh full time) but this year is obviously different. I start again with a new job in a week after maternity/settlement agreement, have got an electric throw now too...

Ok I've caved in and ordered myself a pair of Turtle Doves, think they'll help keep me all toastie when I'm out n about on my new mobility scooter, Covid wasn't kind to me... 🐑 lol

I don’t drink so I can’t give any comparisons to real gin but Clean Co Pink is no1 (I also like their rum), seedlip garden (not shown) no2 (very ‘pea’ though) and cedar’s pink rose no3 (like Turkish delight, I’ve also tried one of their others but can’t remember which one). I’d say go for a big name rather than a shops own version personally but price doesn’t affect taste.
