@Pottytrainhelp never used them personally, but Sensory Direct have weighted animals. They look similar to something we have at work.

Presuming they were fake ones then AliExpress has a massive amount of minifigures. They're normally a bit cheaper on there than eBay and Amazon who essentially resell the cheap AliExpress stuff a lot of the time.

For anyone looking for a cheaper alternative to the Lego advent calendars I've done a make your own one before using a wooden advent calendar with little drawers from the works (think it was £10) which I've decorated and we reuse every year. I bought the Lego ice cream truck last year and split the set up with a few pages of the instruction book between the drawers and Ds gradually built the set over the month.

This year I am thinking if having the elves bring Christmas Ideas: With Exclusive Reindeer Mini Model amzn.eu/8M8Ez51 This book on the 1st and then picking out the pieces he needs to make some of the little models from the mountains of Lego we already have and then putting it in each draw with a little note with the page number in the book.

Amazon have the lego calendar and they sent me a £5 off £15 this morning. That brought the calendar down to £16.99
