Evening. Fluffy and why you both sound busy.

I've had a rubbish work day and took it out on the garden and kitchen which are both spotless as a result.

Just booked cinema tickets for the weekend to see Spider-Man with DH and nephew and now continuing to work on the cross stitch - I'm still not enjoying it at all but it'll hopefully be done relatively soon.

I drove past a nursery today (of the plant kind) that was near a prison and it was called 'serving thyme' 😂😂😂 made me laugh, I thought you would all appreciate it.

I've got a mock numeracy exam tomorrow and someone to come and sort a recall on my car.

It's foggy and -3° here this morning 🥶 ds has spirits club from 8 and I've got a mock maths exam then lectures.

We're 0°, feels like -4°, apparently. 🥶🥶

oops. Sports club! Although the school wasn't open when I got there as the person who is usually in early to open up had Covid. I passed one of the teachers on the way home though so hopefully they weren't out in the cold for too long.

Fluffy I was completely on top of my work by lunchtime yesterday. Today my boss is off sick (Covid) and I'm now looking at going to a few meetings and picking things up in her absence this week so I've gone from being from ahead to buried with work in the space of an hour!

I've had a bit of a random day. Blaming hormones I think - I walked the dog but either forgot to lock the door when I left or didn't do it properly, skidded down around 5 steps on my bum and pretty much flooded the bathroom (have posted about it on another thread - I switched the shower lever the wrong way so the little handheld shower head came on instead of the overhead one. Had a complete mind-blank, stood in the bathroom and spent a minute watching water go everywhere before I closed the shower doors 😩).

I've cleaned up, cooked a nice tea and have spent the evening cross stitching on the sofa as it seemed the safest place to be 😂

I don't like to tempt fate, but after starting at 7 this morning, I'm starting to see the wood for the trees, finally! Just need the new files to come across now. Then it'll go mad again!

I'm ok-ish this morning. I have a sore bruise on one bum cheek so have to sit slightly leaning to one side Plus I have a headache that is desperately trying to become a migraine which I'm fighting with meds, sugar and fresh air at the mo.
I think it's hormones - mine are always all over the place but each time I've had a vaccination they've gone haywire for approx 2 months so I'm thinking it may be the end of that period now?
Either way I hope it's over soon.

I had an early night last night. Still feel tired today though. Sigh.

Hopefully your hormonal wonkiness will end soon, Crazy. My period has gone properly AWOL. I've had internal grumblings in the last week though, so maybe something is happening! 🤔

Morning! DH wished me a Happy House Anniversary before he left today - I can't believe we've been in this house for a year already!
Very fitting that just last night I was sending my dad a list of all the things we want to do to it over the next few years and he was making me want to cry by giving me prices 😂

Fluffy I've read and spoken to quite a lot of people who said the vaccine seems to have altered their cycles. People with much more reliable periods than me have missed one or two following their jabs but things have gone back to normal after that.
I've been similar to you - this clumsiness and forgetfulness has come with the other usual pre-period warning signs but I've had this twice with no actual period over the last few months 🙄

I took a bit of time off / had an extended lunch break yesterday because I felt rough and exhausted so am working early today to make up for it as my workload is increasing by the minute

I was thinking that it must be a year soon the other day! Happy house-iversary! 🏠❤️

Anyone got any plans for the weekend? I'm looking for inspiration for something to do...

I'm taking the dc to the opticians on Saturday and need to do some uni work and actual work (unpaid but I've got an observation Monday so want to prep). Sunday I'm taking ds to football. Dh is working all weekend.

🤛 Splidarity fist bump, Heyup! I keep saying 'Today is the last day I start at 7am', only to fail to catch up with myself and have to do it again the next day! 🙄

I keep having files which cause a bother on and off during the day, taking up loads of time.

I'm thinking we need to get to an NT place at the weekend. We've not used our membership properly in the last couple of years, for obvious reasons.

Thank you all - I feel like this year has flown by. Definitely glad we moved, I much prefer this house. Plus there's another house on the market a few streets away, exact same size as ours but slightly more modern and it's £70k more than we paid 😱

HeyUp I know my work is different but I'm giving you a solidarity fist bump too 🤛 - my boss is off ill and this week the work seems never ending (I worked 7am-6pm today trying to catch up, especially as I took a break yesterday with the migraine).

This weekend I'm out with my friend on Saturday, going for lunch, then a seaside walk, possibly an arcade (we both like the 2p & 10p machines ) then probably tea and cake and Sunday we're finally going to see Spider-Man. We're taking eldest nephew and will probably go for lunch with him as we haven't seen him on his own for ages.
