What do you think Chris Whitty is doing for Xmas?

I definitely expect him to be a vegetarian.

With the amount of parasites he has to work with? Undoubtedly.

He might even have encountered some whilst working in Tropical Medicine as well.

He might use the holidays to blink.

He can come here and not have a Christmas dinner - we are having a vegetarian lasagne with spinach, feta , mushrooms and emmental. He'd have to put up with 3 small, very excited DC - 6, 4 and 2, probably have to play games with them, read to them, discuss fossils with DS1 and fairies with DD, and DH would definitely want to discuss his broken foot in detail with him but apart from that worth travelling from London for.

Not gonna lie, that actually sounds like a fantastic Christmas - especially the kids sound delightful - and would be a pleasure for anyone to be invited to.

I am loving the comments here about Witty, and so pleased this thread has stayed so positive.

I think he seems like an all round, fantastic guy - an absolute diamond.

I think he is getting absolutely rat assed,because he knows,he has to appear again with clown Johnson on the 27th and show next slide please.poor bugger,merry xmas.

@DumplingsAndStew Thanks - the DC are lovely but DS2 who is 2.5 is a bit tantrummy at the minute, has been ok today- nothing has met with his disapproval 😁

Seeing the stupid, infantile comments about him even on here makes me so embarrassed. Just proves how stupid a lot of the general public are. Not sure I could stay so dignified.

I have nothing but respect and admiration for him. He is worth a million of the absolute clowns who are actually running the country.
