What are you wearing on Christmas Day?

We’re just staying home and my dad will come round for Christmas lunch and games. So chilled day but can’t decide whether to make an effort (especially as haven’t been out anywhere really this year) or Xmas jumper? But don’t want to get too hot while cooking.
Or super casual/ non Christmassy ??

What is everyone else wearing?

We're going to son and his family - there'll be 8 of us. Going to wear pleated midi bronze skirt, thinnish loose (to cover belly) knitted metallic top (lighter bronze with some gold thread), doubled-up black/gold scarf and tights and boots. Will take slippers to change into! Scarf is from local charity shop and really pulls it all together.

That sounds really festive!

Cable tights, a retro cord a line mini and a black polo neck. Dressy but not too dressy.

PJs or a onesie, I haven't decided yet.

I had my 3rd round of chemo yesterday, so I will be in Christmas PJs.

I'm wearing a black ribbed knitted dress, midi length. It's comfy and stretchy but looks 'dressed up'. Just me and my man on Christmas day 💖

I've got a green smock dress from new look which allows plenty of room for expanding bellies and is festive. I'll put on a Christmas jumper if I get cold.

Black denim dungarees with a black pointelle crew neck long sleeve top underneath. And a red velvet and white faux fur headband.

Cashmere lounge set and slippers. Only the four of us so its all about comfort this year.

We're going to PIL. It's always cold so I'm planning on thick tights. I've got one of the M&S x ghost dresses from last year which is black with stars on so I may wear that. It's big and comfy enough that I will stay warm and be able to eat without a waistband digging in!

I usually wear a pair of heels, leather look jeggings and a Xmas jumper

We’re going to the in laws and they keep their house boiling. I’m wearing a red dress and black leggings - comfortable but Christmassy.

Some of us are still mid isolation so will just be us at home, not even a Christmas family dog walk. I'll do my hair, make up and jewellery but then get into comfy lounge wear and a Christmas jumper I think. It's really a Christmas sweatshirt so won't be all wooly and hot.

Festive clothes

Clean jarmies with a bra. just us, no visiting.

First Christmas day - 25th December- jeans and a jumper with snowflakes on it.
Second Christmas Day 28th - the day we have put Christmas celebrations back to so that DS2 can be with us - Red knitted dress from The Fold and Chie Mihara boots.

Pj's and in bed (night shift)

Gold sequinned knee length skirt, black crew neck jumper with leg of mutton sleeves, black opaque tights, black DM boots.

The skirt was about £3 from eBay years ago and I pull it out every Christmas, the jumper is new from Other Stories. I’ll probably wear a double layer gold chain necklace from Oliver Bonas too.

A bronze shimmery mini dress with a sheer black blouse over it. Sounds weird written down but the blouse is an unusual cut which works over the dress! And slippers.

I'm in Aus and Christmas is going to be a pleasant 29 degrees C.

Today is a sparkly sequin gold jumper from primark I bought years ago that I absolutely love, with boot leg navy jeans and leopard print dms.

I was going to wear a lovely red belted phase 8 dress tomorrow but have decided its too office, plus its actually a bit big for me now? Been running alot and seem to be quite lean at the mo, although haven't lost weight... 🤷‍♀️

So good old primark again, a black and red patterned dress that I absolutely love. Going to wear it with black sparkly tights and flat black ankle boots, that are animal print and have silver studs 🤗

Jeggings, either festive or sparkly top and Christmas slipper socks!

Comfy clothes

A lounge set is what I'll be wearing. I'm too pregnant to make an effort😂 DS has a gorgeous Christmas outfit but thinking of saving it for Boxing Day now as I just want him to be comfy Christmas Day! We usually go casual Boxing Day and dressy Christmas Day but seeing the in-laws Boxing Day this year
