I haven’t seen a thread yet and it’s becoming somewhat of a tradition to be nosey and look in MNetters Xmas fridges.

Here’s mine, booze is in the garage!

Did my shopping today but have not organised my fridge yet

I simultaneously love this thread and also get stressed about people’s fridge organisation!

Just finished cleaning it out and piling it all in. It’s like a festive Tetris! Still have the seafood to collect tomorrow from the fishmonger but I think we’re pretty much done. My parents are bringing the meat but we’re hosting both days. Have another fridge in the garage full of party food for Boxing Day.

I’ve cheated this year and bought all the trimmings ready done- I miss too much when I’m in the kitchen on Christmas morning. Usually cook most things for a roast from scratch but I want in on the action this year!

Why am I obsessing over whether people have enough milk in these fridges ?;

@shakingmytinselatyule, I was getting fixated on the huge quantities of milk some people have in theirs 😂

2 teenage boys in this house so fridge is permanently empty. We fill it during the day and by morning it's empty again. Dare not fill up for Xmas till the last minute but we have a big meat order and Xmas dinner in a box arriving tomorrow. Will post after it arrives.

This was my thought too! My delivery isn’t till tomorrow and I can cope without almost everything in it except milk! It’s just two of us but we get through 8 pints a week…

Full fat milk - 4
Semi-skimmed - 9
Skimmed - 3

I’m snuggled on the sofa but suffice to say that mine has adequate quantities of cheese, gin, tonic, wine, two kinds of cream and loads of fresh veg. No meat because visiting family are veggie and bringing a nut roast; I have sausages and bacon in the freezer and will cook those on the day.

Very impressive fridges here! I've got my M and S collection tomorrow and a Tesco delivery of fresh food. I have a large "American style " fridge freezer, which is already almost full. Ooops. Luckily I have another stand alone fridge for overspill. I just need to take the chocolate out of that one

@MsAgnesDiPesto 8 pints a week is nothing we get through about 3-4 pints a day. I also don't understand why there are so many fridges with so little milk 🙈

My fridge is full and getting my ordered turkey in the morning, going to have a sort out.

Covid/lockdown/some such nonsense, IIRC.

I tried to finish my shop today but Tesco had no gammon, orange juice or mulled wine sachets 😩

My delivery just came tonight, so I can join in! All good shopping done, except the turkey crown and festive Colin the caterpillar from M&S which we're collecting on Friday morning and the turkey will go in the garage fridge which is empty except for 2 additional bottles of milk.

We also have a drinks fridge, but I'm less inclined to take its pic since I'm 23 weeks pregnant and can't have any of it! ☹️

Here is ours. Not the most exciting and lots of plant based for my child with dairy, soya and egg allergies.

This thread appeals to me on many levels! Love food and love seeing inside peoples fridges 😋. Cook order being delivered tomorrow for Xmas day- so our fridge just includes the next few days and Boxing Day.
