Show me your Christmas fridge!

I haven’t seen a thread yet and it’s becoming somewhat of a tradition to be nosey and look in MNetters Xmas fridges.

Here’s mine, booze is in the garage!

Just back from Asda....theres no way I can open fridge door never mind take a piccie !! God help the kids when they want milk for a brew !

This didn't upload I don't think.... pretty full for us. We have Bad Brownie brownies and a large bad brownie salted caramel yule log for Xmas pudding.
All our Xmas Dinner is in the freezer because it's from Cook! No hosting. Just me, DH, DS(6) and Dd (1)

Oh how embarrassing. I've just noticed the gigantic spider web that I meant to get with the hoover earlier 😳

@Moaningturtle it's the start of the Christmas gravy! Pre-roasted bones, then into the slow cooker for a long brew, then cooled and fat will be skimmed and used for roasties. Stock will go into the roasting tin on the day.

DH is doing the final shop tomorrow so I'm going to tidy it while he's out. We've a bit more space to play around with though, because even though our fridge is normal sized, we don't drink, and we don't keep butter or eggs in the fridge (actually no-one in the UK or Ireland needs to refrigerate eggs, but we have chickens anyway so ours are conveniently dispensed fresh as we need them).

We have a giant chest freezer and a big soft drinks shelf in the utility room, which helps as well. I love having them all stocked up. Really looking forward to Christmas Tetris tomorrow...

@NFLwidow, I always put bananas in the fridge but maybe it isn’t a thing! Last year on this thread mumsnet taught me you couldn’t put your meat on the top shelf. Maybe I will learn something new every year

Thanks OP, I started this thread last year and got my arse handed to me for not "reading the room" but it was just a bit light heartedness amongst the shite. So I've not had the nerve to start it this year and I love it!

I saw that, although words failed me (an extreme rarity with me) so I held back on commenting. I only found it because it was on the 'trending' list, which is why I suspect it attracted so many disgruntled comments.

Best - or should I say worst - example of pissing on someone's chips I've seen on Mumsnet to date. And that's a tall order.

My fridge is very untidy, things balanced at angles, etc. But I do do a mean butler's pantry full of neatly arranged glass jars, all meticulously labelled ...

I am going to do our shop tomorrow morning and was thinking I would start this thread if no else had got round to it yet, although I was a bit worried after last years palaver so glad you beat me to it OP

I shouldn't have been needing a full fridge at all as we were meant to be going to DB's but he has covid! I managed to pick up a frozen turkey in Tesco yesterday and I'm going back at 7am tomorrow to hopefully get everything else. I will report back once my fridge is suitably full.
