What time do you finish Xmas eve?

If you work in an office what time will you finish Xmas eve? I seem to have meetings all afternoon so I won't finish until 5 which seems really late . I'm hoping they get cancelled. Are you working normal time Xmas eve?

Ours is closing at 1pm but I've taken annual leave that day.

I'm on annual leave but as we're working from home it's probably the usual Friday finish time of 3.55pm.

I will be working until 5pm. I am working Christmas eve, boxing day, both Bank holidays and new years eve, and every day in between more or less. The joys of being a nurse. We are not allowed to take any annual leave either. Absolutely rubbish. I really need to find a new job in the new year.... any ideas?

I don’t work in an office however our work place is normally open until 6pm however Christmas Eve we finish at 1pm.

I've been very lucky in getting Xmas Eve off but the people that are working in my team are in until 5. I agree it does seem too late.

Are your meetings with Americans, OP? They are six hours behind and don’t seem to care about wagging off early on Christmas Eve, bastards.I had some calls with Americans last Christmas Eve. One miserable git emailed me at 4.30 pm GMT demanding a conversation about new derivatives reporting rules post Brexit! I did the call with US Ebenezer Scrooge but with a very ill grace. I have booked the day off this year!

Yes with Americans! I'm hoping as they took some time off for thanksgiving they might cancel as its Xmas.

Currently 6pm, but it's job and done so may be earlier could possibly be later. Think 8pm was the latest Christmas Eve finish. Sale has to be set for those that want to shop on Boxing day :(

We usually get told on the day we can go early, around 1.30 normally.

Probably 11/12, but most of us won't be doing work and just playing games until we get the ok to log off! 😊

4pm which is my normal finish on a Friday - though I often end up working later. I work in a pharmacy wich normally closes at 6 but we close when the GP surgeries close on Christmas Eve (or 30 minutes after) which is usually around 4/4.30. I will be out the door at 4pm on Christmas Eve!

They usually let us finish at lunchtime

4 pm, hospital department.

3pm as taking annual leave. DH is on call so he’ll get home 9-10pm

I'm self employed. I finish 1pm.on the 16th

I finish running workshops 1pm 16th but will have to do a little bit of work 22nd/23rd

12, I've taken the morning off though

I’m on maternity leave this year but any other Xmas eve the office closes between 12-1pm. I’ve booked the last few Xmas eve’s off though, had to use a day’s holiday even though office is only open half a day but I aren’t bothered I’d rather have the day off

We might get an told we can finish early but it's not guaranteed and someone will have to cover till 5pm.
