Thanks @Carrie76 for the title. Just for everyone’s info - the chat was about tablet size 😁

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Those of you that have had successful Aldi squishmallow missions, have you gone first thing? There's no sign at either of the ones near me, with no empty bins, but I haven't been when it opens.

Namechangesagain · 29/11/2021 14:55
@Namechangesagain i used FAMILY20 on jaques at the weekend. If not i think EXCLUSIVE15 or EXCLUSIVE10 worked
Does anyone have an Argos discount code please? Rearranging the lounge and need to order done sensible toy storage! Looking to spend around £100

ThatsMySantaHisBeardIsSoFluffy · 29/11/2021 15:00

@torthecatlady

I haven't read the whole thread yet, but Land's End currently have 60% off everything full priced and free delivery.

If you purchased anything in the last 14 days they guarantee the price, so will refund the difference! I cheekily asked the question via their online chat feature earlier today and I am being sent a £4.50 refund.

You star! I'm getting a £12 refund on my slippers! I was sulking somewhat until you posted. Xmas Grin
dawnky1983 · 29/11/2021 15:01

BeaLola · 29/11/2021 15:02

M&S I still have bloomin 18 days to get cheap Gary Barlow tickets + I now see they are advertising that you can win tickets to an "exclusive, intimate performance with Gary in London" - what is it with M&S ? I am sure Gary is lovely but .......

dawnky1983 · 29/11/2021 15:04

Also thanks @Duvetflower x

@tabbycat985
IWOOT has a fantastic kids T-shirt offer on, buy Two mystery packs of 3 for £8.89!
I paid 99p delivery because I could t get any other codes to stack but 6 T-shirts for under £10 is a steal!

There is actually a 5 pack 'geek' bundle available on the same offer so 10 T-shirt's for £8.89 but only age 8 left.

Thanks for the tip I bought 2 packs in my granddaughter’s size if they don’t work for her I can donate them to a local children’s charity I support. For fans of heavy duty sit on the desk type tape dispensers I bought one in Card Factory for £1.99 a couple of years ago. Still have them in our local store but they don’t appear online, they are just as sturdy as the Raspesco (have those in work) not in fancy colours though.
@Smileatthesmallthings yay, glad to help!

@dawnky1983 my dd asked for a squishy painting kit last Christmas or the one before (thanks moriah Elizabeth…) all of the actual kits had really bad reviews. I ended up getting plain white squishies on Amazon (try searching diy squishy) then bought separate paint and brushes from hobbycraft, and also little dotting tools from amazon cheaply. They worked brilliantly, even did some myself and they’ve lasted ok too.
DD9 loves those videos, what a great idea

@nearlywed21

Any recommendations for an elegant long coat please? (I bought one in the BF sale from topshop and it genuinely makes me look double or triple the size. Perhaps borg coats aren't for shorties!)
I've just bought one from a company called Lilly Ella although Kaleidoscope had some lovely ones too. Not all long though, I got a 3/4 length one as I feel long ones dwarf me!
jocktamsonsbairn · 29/11/2021 15:26

@WotgunShedding

Thanks for the thread!

Can anyone recommend a present for around £30 (but preferably cheaper!) for an avid golfer who has a lot of the gear already? I know nothing about golf and am stumped.

Check wow get/Itison for a day at a localish golf club - can sometimes get lucky and there's a day at a prestigious course for about that price.
Rubyroo73 · 29/11/2021 15:51

Clementine8 · 29/11/2021 15:51

ChristmasAtHogwarts · 29/11/2021 15:55

Has anyone seen a PLAYSTATION in stock anywhere please?

Lovemusic33 · 29/11/2021 16:09

@andadietcoke

I went first thing (just after 8am when they opened) but they was only 2 left, one looked like it had been kicked around the floor so I bought the other despite it not being the one I really wanted 🤣, so now I have the unicorn. They had to Mrs Claus Christmas ones left too but nothing else. They had plenty of Kevin the carrot and friends and the book, it seems the squishmallow’s are more popular.
herecomesthsun · 29/11/2021 16:14

Where is the best supplier to get these white squishes for painting (am wondering about getting these for the next birthday maybe Grin)?

nearlywed21 · 29/11/2021 16:17

Does anyone have any decent diffuser hairdryer recommendations? (Ideally on offer!) have naturally wavy/slightly curly hair when wet but dries straighter, been recommended by the hairdresser to use a diffuser..

Carrie76 · 29/11/2021 16:18

PlayStation 5? The latest rumour is Game will restock early tomorrow morning - you’ll have to act fast though (if they appear at all..) If you have Twitter follow all the PS5 stock tracker accounts as they seem to get the message out fastest when stock drops
5Minions2CallMyOwn · 29/11/2021 16:25

Placemarking for a catch up.
Thanks for new thread. I've been a bit remiss the last two days and not really spent anything.
Am now aiming to get everything bought this week. Famous last words!

Runforwine · 29/11/2021 16:29

Sorry meant to put that on the referral thread🙄

Froppysue · 29/11/2021 16:31

@dawnky1983 yes it was a bundle of tulip paints, then a couple individual colours. Hobbycraft are good for sending £5 birthday codes and things so sign up if you haven’t already Smile
