Thanks @Carrie76 for the title. Just for everyone’s info - the chat was about tablet size 😁

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

I haven't read the whole thread yet, but Land's End currently have 60% off everything full priced and free delivery.

If you purchased anything in the last 14 days they guarantee the price, so will refund the difference! I cheekily asked the question via their online chat feature earlier today and I am being sent a £4.50 refund.

Smileatthesmallthings · 29/11/2021 13:57

@Froppysue That was me!! Thank you! Completely forgot I'd bought him that duvet cover - will have to rummage it out of the Christmas stash pile. Got some Grinch t-shirts coming from IWOOT but may have to pay a visit to the shops for those PJ's

tabbycat985 · 29/11/2021 13:57

IWOOT has a fantastic kids T-shirt offer on, buy Two mystery packs of 3 for £8.89!
I paid 99p delivery because I could t get any other codes to stack but 6 T-shirts for under £10 is a steal!

There is actually a 5 pack 'geek' bundle available on the same offer so 10 T-shirt's for £8.89 but only age 8 left.

Chocolate Society are offering 20% off gift boxes of luxury chocolate truffles here until midnight tonight - code BLACKFRIDAY20

@butterflymum last year my Scrawlrboxes arrived with just tissue paper wrapping up the items inside the cardboard boxes. I haven't received this year's yet or I'd confirm either way!

@Autumnleaves4 hope you all enjoy your coffees! Smile

PhantomErik · 29/11/2021 14:01

SuburbanKel Character have some barbie themed clothes & a rucksack.

Froppysue · 29/11/2021 14:01

@Smileatthesmallthings yay, glad to help!

@dawnky1983 my dd asked for a squishy painting kit last Christmas or the one before (thanks moriah Elizabeth…) all of the actual kits had really bad reviews. I ended up getting plain white squishies on Amazon (try searching diy squishy) then bought separate paint and brushes from hobbycraft, and also little dotting tools from amazon cheaply. They worked brilliantly, even did some myself and they’ve lasted ok too.

LemonCake79 · 29/11/2021 14:02

@PinkDaydreams

I've gone for this one, it's £7.20 with two rolls of tape
It'll change your life... or at least your wrapping. Can't believe anyone on this thread would consider anything other than the 'heavy duty' option. Wink
butterflymum · 29/11/2021 14:13

@ClaraTheImpossibleGirl I thought that might be the case, thanks, and just wanted to be sure before attempting to remove the sticky address labels with a hairdryer.

TakeMeToYourLiar · 29/11/2021 14:17

@Youvegotafriendinme

DS 5, has asked Santa for an archery set on a stand for Christmas and I’ve seen this one here on Amazon but not overly convinced it isn’t going to be plastic rubbish. It is purely for fun, not to learn archery but still want one to last. Just wondered if anyone had this one of could point me in the right direction for a good one. Up to £50. Thank you
We got a good one from Aldi, worth checking their website

It says 14+ but we bought it for my 5 yo and he can fire it and hit the target

psuedocream3 · 29/11/2021 14:18

Anyone after the oculus quest 2, it's back at Amazon for £249.99 with £50 free amazon credit back after despatch. It will go fast, so don't wait if you want it.

Thank you ou fir the kids fitness tracker watch suggestions.

Now realising football coaches will be on the list along with teachers etc this year...any suggestions for token gifts? There's 3 to buy for and I'd like something price-wise akin to the Rex coffee cups if possible but more 'blokey'?!

Picklesbaby · 29/11/2021 14:27

@Justhereforthechristmasthreads I received the grandpas Christmas book today thanks ever so much.
Dd lost her grandad to covid this time last year so it’s going to be our little gift to her from him 😇

psuedocream3 · 29/11/2021 14:33

@Haveyoubrushedyourteeth Thank you so much for sending me the Christmas Tree squishmallow, it's almost as big as our little one, I let out a little squeal of delight when I opened the package, you are a star! I have sent a pm x

@Picklesbaby

Aww you are welcome

Sorry for your family's loss x

Duvetflower · 29/11/2021 14:45

squishies I've bought plain ones to decorate from baker ross before.

scrawlbox I ended up opening mine to check if it had anything relating to price etc inside. Most stuff wrapped in tissue paper. There is a magazine labelled October 2020 inside with a few art ideas, but a bit crap really and obviously dated over a year ago. Contents were OK, sketchbook very small and cheap looking, wouldn't have paid full price for it.

Clementine8 · 29/11/2021 14:46

@Namechangesagain i used FAMILY20 on jaques at the weekend. If not i think EXCLUSIVE15 or EXCLUSIVE10 worked

Rubyroo73 · 29/11/2021 14:46

can anyone recommend any bargainous ladies base layer tops for skiing?

Sport pursuit often have offers on baselayers.
Smileatthesmallthings · 29/11/2021 14:51

@Rubyroo73 can't vouch for quality as haven't been skiing but when I went in to Lidl last week they had a whole range of ski-wear

I went on and just bought 3 gifts for £20. I got all excited as thought it was 5 for £20. Didn't even look at your suggestion and now sitting on my hands to avoid going back on site. Can't resist all these bargains!
Rubyroo73 · 29/11/2021 14:53

Great - thanks @Smileatthesmallthings - will take a look!
