Thanks @Carrie76 for the title. Just for everyone’s info - the chat was about tablet size 😁

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Thanks for the Squishmallows info. I might have to try in store, though can only go in the evening after work, so probably not much chance for getting one.

Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 28/11/2021 22:27

How strange as Amazon let me cancel my Dairymilk no problem at all, then I reordered straight away and it's coming tomorrow (if the snow jogs on).

ChoccyJules · 28/11/2021 22:31

Am needing something for three teenagers who I don’t know very well, was thinking a decent chocolate gift bag but Hotel Chocolat stuff can look quite small for the money, any ideas? Not vouchers. Budget can only be £10-15 each.

Puffalicious · 28/11/2021 22:32

If anyone still after reusable batteries, IKEAs are fantastic and a great price. They've saved me a fortune over the years.

Looking for the best deal on new Forza 2021 for Xbox. £50 in Curry's best deal I've seen, but wondered if could shave anything off that?

Nice toiletries always go down well, or stationary. Typo very cool with the teens in my house: you get great stationary/ funny socks/ cushions/ water bottles/ flasks/ badges etc.
Puffalicious · 28/11/2021 22:38

Also IWOOT doing 3 gifts for £18 and plenty for teens- I did an order yesterday. Or FanGrrll has 50% site wide.

Justonedayatatime11 · 28/11/2021 22:45

Has anyone seen any good BF deals on a sequin skirt!?

Foo2 · 28/11/2021 22:53

@WotgunShedding I've ordered a personalised golf glove and score card wallet from Not On The High Street.

@BooRadleyIsFree

Does anyone shop at Decathlon? I've seen a bike I'd like to buy but would feel happier if I knew that their customer service is good. Or is there anywhere with a sale on that sells BMX bikes? Thanks
We've had two bikes from Decathlon, good quality not had an issue to need customer services. They have bike maintenance in store so I'm sure they'd sort out any issue if there was one.
Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 28/11/2021 22:59

@choccyjules chilly bottles would go down well with my teens, and they've got some heavily reduced on their website.

Mrsacemay · 28/11/2021 23:03

@Workyticket recommend the Remington Hydraluxe Air Styler which is about £30. I've had the Babyliss Big Hair and the Revlon One Step in the past and the Remington dries much faster.

Yuledo · 28/11/2021 23:15

Paw and glory have 25% off and free shipping.
Quirky pet portraits etc.

Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 28/11/2021 23:20

I’ve cancelled my dairy milk - it was supposed to be delivered by today, not arrived though.

Was there another link to dairy milk that was a dead cert? Still need it for baking

ClaraTheImpossibleGirl · 28/11/2021 23:35

Zavvi has some reduced Lego and a further 10% off with code CYBERMONDAY10 here

Givealittlebit · 28/11/2021 23:46

Eeek sorry for the mammoth link!

Also, can't quite believe we've hit 25 before it's even December! They've moved so fast this year I've dipped in and out, usually much more religious to follow

LastStarFighter · 28/11/2021 23:49

@mojojojo “Did you know that you’ve got an ancient old kindle lurking in a drawer somewhere you can trade it in towards a new kindle?

I’ve got a paperwhite now put my old kindle that I bought around 10 years ago was just sitting lying around unused. Today I traded it in to get DD a kids kindle for Christmas. The kids kindle was already reduced from £99.99 to £59.99 for Black Friday but I got a further 20% off and a £15 gift certificate for my old kindle so it worked out at only £32.99, bargain!”

How did it work? I was going to do this to get DH’s new kindle, but it said I would need to send the old one off to Amazon to have it appraised, and I figured that would make it too late for the BlackFriday discount.

@ChoccyJules if you go for the chilly bottles check out the referral thread for free personalisation

@IslaInthesun

Amazon won't let me cancel my dairy milk. I'll have to hope it gets here in time.
Why not? Has it already been dispatched?

If it's for the Xbox could you give a game pass gift pass? The game pass is only about a tenner for a months access and the nee Forza is included in it

Just to pick up on a post at the end of the last thread - we also used the Amazon Trade in service and got £45 credit for old and unwanted kindles, plus 20% off a purchase of a new one. Coupled up with the Black Friday reductions we got a new kindle paper light for virtually nothing

I was wondering how the trade in worked? When I clicked through for it, it seemed I would have to send off the old kindle for assessment before getting the trade-in credit, which would have meant I missed the discount.
Newdad19 · 29/11/2021 00:15

Haha @LastStarFighter I literally just replied in thread 24 to you with the info! Yes you need to send for appraisal and it can take a few weeks to complete. Ours took only 4 days though

Newdad19 · 29/11/2021 00:16

Although I should mention I did have an option to receive an instant credit actually even before it had been appraised when I went through to confirm the trade.

I'm not sure if that's because I am a prime customer and also not sure exactly what they would do if the appraisal was valued less than expected (ie. It was damaged when you claimed it wasn't).

It's maybe worth a try to just submit the trade though and see if they offer you the instant credit anyway?
