And I’m up at 3:40am so thought I’d check out if there are any bargains that I need 😁

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Referral thread here to use for if you’re posting your personal referral link to others.

Vodafone codes thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

I couldn't get that code to work on already discounted Neom products. If you see anything else will you shout?[/quote]
Ah it does say it excludes some brands :( it's quite rare for one of their codes to work on sale stuff, but will post if I find anymore!

Iknowitisheresomewhere · 28/11/2021 07:26

Sainsbury’s had some nice Gruffalo gloves with a character on each finger. Monsoon have also had nice ones in previous years, haven’t looked this year.

Elpheba · 28/11/2021 07:33

Morning all, does anyone have any good ideas for places to look for kids luggage? I’d like to get both DC (3 and 5) their own wheely bag but want it to fit Ryanair/easyJet hand luggage rules in the vain hope that one day we’ll go abroad again!
Only looked at smiggle & skip hop so far and they’re too big…

mummyof2boys30 · 28/11/2021 07:34

Can anyone recommend warm winter ladies boots. A present for myself. My son has started horse riding and i feel i might freeze 🙈

thetimeisnow · 28/11/2021 07:37

Is there a discount for real giftcards anywhere?
I've tried looking but only see an e-gift one.
Cineworld to be precise for ds and his gf.

IamChipmunk · 28/11/2021 07:39

Thanks for the naughtiest unicorn book tip.
Dd is 5.5 and i got her the worst witch set for her 5th bday. She hated them!
She has a random unicorn school hand me down that she quite likes but its frankiy crap! These sound much more amusing and I know a naughty unicorn called Dave who poos a lot will engage her (and probably ds who is 7 also!!)

the first 2 books in the set are 2 for £7 so ive gone for them and then the xmas one which is £1.50 (its book 4 aparently).
I'll wrap them all together in a set.

EverybodyKeepCool · 28/11/2021 07:56

@thetimeisnow Tesco did have 20% off Cineworld giftcards via their online shop but not sure whether they send physical cards or not.

Smileatthesmallthings · 28/11/2021 08:01

@IamChipmunk oh no! I was hoping to get DS (nearly 5) the Worst Witch books. I'd be sad if he hated them coz I loved them as a kid!

@mummyof2boys30 I'd recommend getting some snow boots. My feet get so cold and no 'nice' boots keep them warm but my snow boots mean I can stay out for much longer. I also just got some ski trousers and socks from lidl as he's just started football, outside!

oatmilkisntsobad · 28/11/2021 08:04

I'm really sorry to do this but I've just realised that I need some makeup bits and now can't find the Look Fantastic codes. I usually screenshot anything I might use but forgot my mascara and other bits need replacing. No gifts just my essentials! Can some kind soul please share them?

Methenyouplus4 · 28/11/2021 08:05

@TheCrow that would be great and much appreciated, thank you.

@Namechangesagain Husband is 6ft 4, so guessing the length of women's might be an issue. Will try to ring one today to ask.

We have had no power since Friday, well and truly fed up now.

IamChipmunk · 28/11/2021 08:08

@Smileatthesmallthings I know!! I loved them too, I was gutted! We will come back to them tho when she is older! I need her to like school books as I am planning to get her St Claires and Mallory towers just so I can read them all again!!
Im struggling to get her into chapter books so I'm hoping these naughty unicorn ones will work!

My ds liked the Roald dahl ones at around 5. The shorter less scary ones like the twits and fantastic Mr Fox.

withiceplease · 28/11/2021 08:10

@oatmilkisntsobad CYBER20 for BF offers on LF

CeeceeBloomingdale · 28/11/2021 08:15

@user1466167893

Superdry have an Ebay outlet. I bought a size 10 puffer a couple of weeks ago for £50 for my permanently freezing DD.

@thetimeisnow Tesco have 20% off Cineworld ones HERE but it is only a e-gift card. Perhaps you could email it yourself, print it off and then wrap wirh a bag of popcorn or something if you want them to have something physical

If Odeon is any good then Asda have 20% actual Odeon giftcards in store

weebarra · 28/11/2021 08:24

Lovely stuff here: wild-earth-studio.com
And 20% off jewellery this weekend with BLACKFRIDAY

QueenOfThorns · 28/11/2021 08:25

My ds liked the Roald dahl ones at around 5. The shorter less scary ones like the twits and fantastic Mr Fox.

My DD was so scared by Fantastic Mr Fox at that age (the bit where the farmers are using diggers and the fox family are digging for their lives to get away) that she wouldn’t let me finish it!

Unihorn · 28/11/2021 08:26

Discounted gift cards with Blue Light Card for places that don't do cashback it's always worth checking Blue Light if eligible for their Eden Red e-gift card discounts. They're mostly about 3 or 4% but make a difference on larger purchases at Argos, Boots etc. They also do 6% off Costa ones.

Smileatthesmallthings · 28/11/2021 08:26

@IamChipmunk I have issues with Roald Dahl in that the content is mostly people being unkind to others. DS wouldn't enjoy them at all. He absolutely loves The Enchanted Wood series (we read all 3, four times in a row!) but he wasn't so keen on the Wishing Chair as they were a bit more perilous. It's hard not to rush into books that we enjoyed as kids too soon - I refuse to do Harry Potter till he'll be able to understand it enough and really get into it!

oatmilkisntsobad · 28/11/2021 08:27

Thanks @withiceplease
Which beauty boxes are everyone buying from look fantastic? I hate missing out 🤣

MsMiaWallace · 28/11/2021 08:28

The Julia Donaldson book Christmas TV special this year is Superworm so worth buying the book in as a stocking filler for kids.

oatmilkisntsobad · 28/11/2021 08:30

Thanks @withiceplease

2nd time writing this as my other post disappeared so apologies if it come up twice!

PersisFord · 28/11/2021 08:31

@mummyof2boys30 @Smileatthesmallthings I agree about snow boots. I’m looking to replace my trust sorel ones, am searching for a good deal. Warm feet will be my present to myself!

Are there any Smiggle codes that will work on sale stuff?

Beakerandbungle · 28/11/2021 08:33

On books, thanks to a recommendation here my DS (6) has really got into the Wrenly series - short chapters, lots of illustration and the language is simple as designed as first chapter books. Only problem is he is reading then so quickly I have to get the next one every 2 days! He’s reading them himself.

They are sort of fantasy adventures.

Trumpton · 28/11/2021 08:37

@Elpheba
I have just borrowed this bag for an EasyJet flight. I live close to the airport so packed it with a weeks stuff and tried it in the cage just to check. It fitted easily even when packed.
Aerolite MiniMax

Amazon only have it in pink but olive and blue are available.

WellThatsATurnipForTheBooks · 28/11/2021 08:37

On Debenhams there's lots of Burton, Boohoo, Dorothy Perkins etc clothing starting from a couple of pounds and you get free P&P with the code BLACKOUT.

If you're willing to search through pages of stuff you might find the odd suitable thing . I bought a couple of tshirts as stocking fillers
