And I’m up at 3:40am so thought I’d check out if there are any bargains that I need 😁

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

@Poppiesway1

The £5.90 Dairy Milks… has anyone received one yet? Mine were due to be delivered tomorrow.. Just had an email to say there is a delay and won’t be delivered until 30th December and I can cancel my order if I wish. Sad that’s a few presents I need to cover now!
We ordered a couple of weeks ago and nothing had came and the order showed an expected delivery date of December 10th, even though they were still being advertised as available for next day prime delivery.

We cancelled our original order, reordered and they came the next day. We actually had an issue with the box of one of them and complained and they sent a replacement which also arrived the following day.

Easternfells · 28/11/2021 20:48

@OhRex I would get a Christmas tree at White Company with the 20% discount instead, they look much better close up.

Wonderfulstuff · 28/11/2021 20:49

Hi there

I was wondering if anyone here had an Argos code they could share with me please? DD's main pressie is finally back in stock so keen to pounce but also keen to save some pennies! Thanks in advance :)

Puffalicious · 28/11/2021 20:51

@SlurpleThePurple

Any ideas where I can look for some nice but bargainous stationery for my niece who is 13?
Sainsbury's is always fabulous. Or Typo- there's a sale on right now. Both popular with my teens.
RainbowPhilosophy · 28/11/2021 20:52

@Coronado2 B&M have neckwarmers for £6 (I've bought one for my mum). They have the bags that you heat up and then put inside the scarf-like wrap and put around your neck. I bought navy but I think there was also a pink version.

andadietcoke · 28/11/2021 20:55

@LavateLasManos thank you so much. I'll message you - having issues with getting notifications with private messages! Whatever you can get I'll happily take!!

CapBarnacles · 28/11/2021 20:55

@OneMorePieceofCheese

I'm still waiting for my original bargain Dairy Milk... so I ordered another one yesterday at £5.90, which arrived today! I can now cancel the earlier order. Just a tip if anyone else is still waiting for theirs.
This is interesting, mine hasn't turned up either so I've just ordered another.
OhRex · 28/11/2021 20:57

Thanks @Easternfells they are too pricey with 20% off hmmm might get a real one then try the Jan sales for next year!!!!

Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 28/11/2021 20:58

@slurplethepurple if you're real life shopping then Wilkos usually have some really nice stuff that's very reasonable. I find their website really rubbish, but in store its usually all displayed nicely and there are lots of coordinating bits that would make a nice gift. The Eco stuff in WH Smiths is also gorgeous, but eye-wateringly expensive without a code and I think they've all been and gone sadly.

riotlady · 28/11/2021 20:58

Thank you for the jumper suggestions everyone! Have got one from Woolovers

RainbowPhilosophy · 28/11/2021 20:59

@Newdad19 @OneMorePieceofCheese do you know what happens if I cancel the Dairy Milk when it was part of an order that needed to be over £20 for free delivery, but wouldn't be without the chocolate? Mine is showing December-January for delivery but I don't know if it's going to cause any issues re delivery charge if I cancel it. Thanks

SlurpleThePurple · 28/11/2021 21:02

Thank you both @Puffalicious @Haveyoubrushedyourteeth Smile

Thisisbatshit · 28/11/2021 21:09

The Feminist Activity Book looks like a nice wee gift. Crafty humorous ideas I think. Ot is £3.49 on amazon just now. here

@rainbowphilosophy cancelling shouldn't affect your first order but just select "ot will be delivered too late" as you reason and reorder and you could always argue it with customer service if needs be. My original order was meant to come tomorrow, but I just went in to cancel (thanks for the reminder as I already have 4 bars of the stuff) and they had moved the date back to the 3rd of January.

Thisisbatshit · 28/11/2021 21:14

Lego Marvel Thanos glove
is £39.99 on amazon here

Also for those looking for reusable batteries amazon's own ones are £13.50 for 16 at the moment. Also they have several of the cricut machines reduced. I would love one but think DH would not be impressed!

Fuckingfuckssake · 28/11/2021 21:22

@SlurpleThePurple Blippo has always gone down well here, delivery takes about a fortnight so look sooner rather than later, ILOVEKAWAII used to knock 20% off but I haven't tried it for a while.

Reastie · 28/11/2021 21:27

I have blissfully ignored all mention of Squishmallows as did not think I had any need for them, but today have had them suggested to me as a present. Am I too late to even think I might get one from Aldi? Does anyone know if they re-stock online, or is it just a case of getting lucky in store?

AlexinMotherland · 28/11/2021 21:39

@TheCrow please tell me where your Primark is? On the hunt for Simpsons pyjamas!

Coronado2 · 28/11/2021 21:53

That sounds great, thank you Grin

TheCrow · 28/11/2021 22:14

@AlexinMotherland Darlington in the north east. It's only a small branch but we seem to get quite a lot of good stuff in there! We've had loads of snuddies as well

MojoJojo71 · 28/11/2021 23:00

Did you know that you’ve got an ancient old kindle lurking in a drawer somewhere you can trade it in towards a new kindle?

I’ve got a paperwhite now put my old kindle that I bought around 10 years ago was just sitting lying around unused. Today I traded it in to get DD a kids kindle for Christmas. The kids kindle was already reduced from £99.99 to £59.99 for Black Friday but I got a further 20% off and a £15 gift certificate for my old kindle so it worked out at only £32.99, bargain!

AlexinMotherland · 28/11/2021 23:12

Thanks @TheCrow too far for me but I’ll see if I can find anyone I know nearby

SlurpleThePurple · 28/11/2021 23:22

Leeds Primark had loads of Simpsons PJ's today.

buckeejit · 29/11/2021 00:01

@MojoJojo71 that's a heat tip-could dd play most of her Apple apps on a kindle? Sorry, I'm clueless!
