Until Thanksgiving evening.
This year it's November 25th.
Most cities in the US have some kind of Christmas tree lighting ceremony around 7 or 8pm on the evening of Thanksgiving.
Friday, the 26th, is the day I start planning Christmas festivities and it starts looking a lot like Christmas.

For me the 1st when the kids have their advent calendars. I’ll get the decs down start slowly putting them up . I love the Christmas period and the countdown .

@OhGiveUp it's the Christmas episode of father Ted, we watch it every year without fail and it still makes me laugh out loud!

The temp drops low enough for gloves and scarf! I'm waiting for the radio Christmas stations to come in air - Smooth radio said they'd start at 8am Tuesday so I waited - nothing!
I've ordered new outside garlands and I'm not allowing myself to open the box until Dec1.

Until I've made my first lot of (lethal) mulled wine - I'm pretty freeform with the "extras"! Usually a drop of port and a dash of fruit liqueurs, maybe even some King's Ginger 🍷

First saw it as a child - it is pretty creepy and spooky in parts, but it has become an annual viewing tradition with us, final episode watched on Christmas Eve (with mulled wine)

The children breakup from school and myself and DH are on annual leave for two weeks. Usually by the 21st. That's when we get all the Christmas treats to eat out 🎅🏼🙌🏻
