DH has just taken up cycling. I'd like to get him one of those jackets that turn completely white when a light shines on them and some cycling gloves. I've had a Google, but know nothing about cycling. Does anyone have any cycling brands they recommend? Or just any old one from decathlon etc?

@Beakerandbungle we play forbidden island and also forbidden desert a lot and my kids (6 and 8) love both. Desert is harder. Sorry I can’t compare but would def recommend these. (We also play carcassonne, camel up, labyrinth if that helps!)

The same doll is often available cheaper in a different outfit or hair colour if it's the older version. They are lovely dolls. DD is progressing on to a reborn doll this Christmas, which makes £55 for a doll seem like a bargain 😳

Good luck anyone who is venturing to Aldi for the nostalgia lights. I've no idea why I thought this, but they are a 10 metre string of 100 lights. I was sure it was a 360 light string.

Anyhoo, off to sharpen my elbows.

It definitely did say that because I compared it to the sainsburys ones! Sainsburys are selling these for £10.
