Thanks @Bezzi for the title. Poor old link being colicky 🤣

I didn't want shower steamers when a lovely poster shared a company that made them....now I do, can anyone remember the name of the company?

Regarding tiny drawer advent calendars. I put a folded up note in each drawer. On th notes are things like:
Build a gingerbread house.
Guess the flavour (Japanese kit kats)
Make Xmas cookies
Grow a Xmas tree (crystal tree kits)
Wrap dad's presents

Of course it costs me an absolute fortune but the DC enjoy a different craft or task each day. I also include a trip to the food bank and toy donation trolley in the advent drawers so they can find joy in giving and making donations and can appreciate how lucky we are

Does anyone have an Argos code please? My basket is £42.

IDontDrinkTea · 09/11/2021 12:34
@vikingnorthutsire if you go on Amazon now and search 850g dairy milk it's on the first page. If you click on it it looks like you can't add to bag, but go into buying options and it's showing as available at £5.90 again on there.
This is starting to drive me slightly bonkers, I have no idea why I can’t find it but I just can’t 😂

Scout2016 · 09/11/2021 12:37

@Lovemusic33 something from the Disney Villans range for your gothy friend? T shirt or one of the books done from the villan's perspective, which I believe have YA / grown up crossover appeal and are nice looking books.

PinkDaydreams · 09/11/2021 12:39

Thank you for advice regarding age and play kitchen and the Aldi wooden toys. I can't wait for ds to receive this on Christmas day! I managed to get a lovely wooden rainbow birthday cake from Aldi for his birthday too which he will love as he's really into rainbows at the minute.
I'm pretty sure i will end up buying some more bits when Lidl have their wooden toys for sale in a few weeks!! 🙈

clpsmum · 09/11/2021 12:46

@CatOfTheLand send me a link to the. Are toys and I'll see if mine has them xx

CatOfTheLand · 09/11/2021 12:47
@CatOfTheLand The christmas bath toys at Dunelm are available for delivery again online now.
Thank you!! Massively grateful for you telling me this because the rest of my basket seems to be deliverable now too!

psuedocream3 · 09/11/2021 12:52

@CatOfTheLand You are very welcome. I ordered them but had to get my husband to collect from store as they went out of stock for elivery really quick. They are really lovely and perfect for stocking sized. Unlike the other bath ducks that I ordered that seem to be double normal bath duck size Confused

MarshmallowsOnToast · 09/11/2021 12:55

I ordered the free pyjamas but just cancelled my order as was put off that they are 100% polyester and if for some reason I did end up getting charged for them would be upset to spend £75 on some cheap pjs. ☺️

So yes, I bottled it. 😅

RJnomore1 · 09/11/2021 13:01

@psuedocream3

If anyone has a spare 20% off code for Matalan I would be greatful, there is a £10 off £50 spend code - MAT50 available, but my spend is a little higher and it all helps Smile
I've pm'd you one @psuedocream3
1stTimeMama · 09/11/2021 13:09

I've bought 3 of my 5 children the red fluffy initial slipper from B&M, but they've never had the last letter I need! If anyone is in a store, could you possibly keep an eye out for a n 'F' in the size 13 options please? Otherwise, I'll just take the rest back, or can pass on if anyone fancies them in a C, E and R!

The previous company with the shower steamers was Bubble & Bathe They have their own website but also sell via Etsy
GeronimosDisco · 09/11/2021 13:14

Is anyone having trouble checking out an order with Argos today? The site keeps telling me they're having a problem processing card payments. I'm mostly paying with nectar points so can't use PayPal.
Made worse as it's for a boring under sink tidy!

Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 09/11/2021 13:18

@mydeamonsanostrich I can't honestly remember how many tools came with it, but I can't imagine that it was enough for you to give one out with each pot. That said my dd just uses her hands to make models, granted she's coming up 10, but even when she was little she'd have been fine with just the clay.

SpamIAm · 09/11/2021 13:19

Just having a look at the two kids lists alongside each other and thinking DS could do with a board game. Any suggestions for something for a 2 year old? Was wondering about something like Elefun or Pop Up Pirates but have never actually played either. His favourite activity is probably tidying things away into boxes 😂

Ck91 · 09/11/2021 13:25

You can get a free Moonpig card with the code KINDNESSDAY

ThatIsHowTheLightGetsIn · 09/11/2021 13:25

Bloody hell @Justhereforthechristmasthreads that's worrying, hope you are ok

@Lovemusic33 would your friend like a Disney t shirt or something ? Lots of mickey and Minnie stuff around in Sainsburys, next, primark

Looking for help:
I have seen mentioned on MN a magnetic wrist thing to hold screws etc which doing DIY, popped into B&Q but they don't do them, anyone know for sure a shop that does to save driving round or recommend an online one as got a bit put off when I looked at Amazon and eBay with the reviews or not wanting to get a rubbish one. It's for DH, not me ta

Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 09/11/2021 13:27

@idontdrinktea it's not you I don't think as it's gone back up again for me now too. It's starting to be like last year's Cinnamon Buns up and down like a yo-yo!

I would worry it was a vehicle for sending yet more weird Chinese seeds into the country 😂

In case that sounds weird, I have received a couple of packs of unrequested, I identified seeds from China

Yeknom · 09/11/2021 13:40

@SpamIAm just 2, or nearer to 3? If no longer putting things in their mouth I whole heartedly recommend 'bed bugs' mine love it!

Ck91 · 09/11/2021 13:42

Apologies the free card has to be a kindness day one so you unfortunately can’t use it for Christmas or birthdays. Still might be nice for some one though.
