Thanks @Bezzi for the title. Poor old link being colicky 🤣

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Toy sale at Sainsburys starts tomorrow if anyone has been waiting for it.

AnimalTheDrummer · 09/11/2021 10:19

@clpsmum yay so glad you got them!
Haha I love the muppets, a muppets/mnet Christmas bargain thread band would be amazing Grin

evtheria · 09/11/2021 10:23

@DillieDoily

 • gemstones/minerals/fossils, can be bought cheaply in bulk, you can even get a tiny box of real gold flakes for the last one.
 • pins/badges, with teen slogans or logos of things he likes on them, to add to his backpack or jacket
Newdad19 · 09/11/2021 10:40

@Namechangesagain that would be brilliant if you would be able to please. I'll PM you. Thanks so much

Wellshellsbells · 09/11/2021 10:55
@Wellshellsbells the link that worked for me is is a couple of pages back - through the extreme savers website
Thanks I got it!

ImAbsolutelyTwatted · 09/11/2021 10:57

@YouKilledKenny

20% off £30 at Matalan. If someone uses it can they just post to say so someone else doesn’t try and use it and waste their time 🎄
Thank you so much for this. Ordered stocking fillers plus the initial stockings for my 3 DC
Lovemusic33 · 09/11/2021 10:58

I’m going real life shopping tomorrow (primark, B&M, home bargains) is there anything I should be looking for in those?

Also I have left to buy for….
17 year old girl, likes drama, theatre etc.. (£10)
17 year old boy, likes sport(£10)
95 year old lady
Something for my dad and his partner, in there mid 60’s (£20)
My best friend, she’s 40, slightly alternative, tattooed, slight goth but loves Disney too (£10-£15).

Sounds like I have a lot left to do but I am more than half way and have got most of the DD’s done 🤣

Purpleheadgirl · 09/11/2021 11:07

@Lovemusic33 there's an adult looking (ie. Not all pink and Fluffy!) Disney bath bundle on the boots £10 Tuesday offers

Nzou1050 · 09/11/2021 11:17

@Haveyoubrushedyourteeth, thanks so much, that's really helpful - think I'll definitely go down the air dry route then, I like the idea of less adult input required Grin

Justhereforthechristmasthreads · 09/11/2021 11:36

Glad I have done most of my Christmas shopping...dreaded positive covid test here this morning. Pretty sure the PCR will come back positive Sad

If so it will be the second positive pcr in 4 months despite being double jabbed and doing everything I can.

I think I read the Aldi Christmas Squishmallows were due in store on 18th. Do they sell these online too?

Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 09/11/2021 11:37

I've just read that Sainsburys Toy sale starts tomorrow if anyone has been waiting.

Glad to be of help @nzou1050 hope it's enjoyed in your house as much as ours!

MydeamonsanOstrich · 09/11/2021 11:44
@spamiam my dd loves art and craft and the best thing I've ever bought her is air dry clay like this. It keeps her occupied for hours, no help required and is mess free, so could be worth a look.
@Haveyoubrushedyourteeth this set looks great.

I'm thinking of getting this to split down to 22 small gifts for my sons to take into pre school for his 4th birthday. I see there are 24 pots of clay but are there enough accessories do you think for that?

Our school no longer allow the youngest children to take the usual cakes /sweets since the early years curriculum changed to include promoting good dental health. Of course Mr almost 4, having experienced lots of other birthdays where he got sweets or cakes previously, is adamant he's taking some in. Hoping little gifts bags for all his friends might be acceptable to him instead!

Thanks @evtheria that's a good idea- I'll have a look for some fossils

Does anyone have any other ideas of what to put in an advent calendar for a 10 year old boy?

buckeejit · 09/11/2021 11:45

@Justhereforthechristmasthreads 💐 hope you manage to get through it pain free

Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 09/11/2021 11:53

@vikingnorthutsire if you go on Amazon now and search 850g dairy milk it's on the first page. If you click on it it looks like you can't add to bag, but go into buying options and it's showing as available at £5.90 again on there.

If anyone has a spare 20% off code for Matalan I would be greatful, there is a £10 off £50 spend code - MAT50 available, but my spend is a little higher and it all helps Smile

Helssjbells · 09/11/2021 12:02

@DillieDoily we do the same in our house, but I find the small drawers too diddy…so on some of the days I leave a clue, which sets off a treasure hunt - ultimately it leads to something that I couldn’t fit in the drawer! So for example, Christmas pencils, iPad charger cable (he’s always breaking them) fidgets, tree decoration with his name on, Christmas fluffy socks etc.
Tiger and Primark are great for getting things reasonably priced.
Hope that helps!

Smyths have some (not many) Black Friday offers today. Website is being glitchy for me though.

CatOfTheLand · 09/11/2021 12:11

Could anyone please help me out by buying and posting me the dunelm Christmas bath toys please? They don't have them for delivery or in my local stores 😖😖

They'd be perfect for my baby's first Christmas

Scout2016 · 09/11/2021 12:13

With QVC codes I was told that if it has been entered it will be logged as used, even if it wasn't redeemed because you didn't complete the purchase. So yes as a PP said you need to ring up customer care to make the order.

psuedocream3 · 09/11/2021 12:16

@CatOfTheLand The christmas bath toys at Dunelm are available for delivery again online now.

Newdad19 · 09/11/2021 12:18

It may have already been posted but the Disney Store have 24% off toys for 24 hours with code TOYTUESDAY today
