Any good deals on portable chargers/power banks? Typo have some in their sale for £15 but I was hoping for something a bit cheaper.. it’s for a long haul plane ride (hooray for open borders) so will have to be able to decently charge phones and tablets rather than just ‘top up’ 5 mins.

Any good deals on portable chargers/power banks? Typo have some in their sale for £15 but I was hoping for something a bit cheaper.. it’s for a long haul plane ride (hooray for open borders) so will have to be able to decently charge phones and tablets rather than just ‘top up’ 5 mins.

I picked up a basic one from the range for about £2 then other day. I've also bought them in Home Bargains and pound shops before for under £5. My best performing one with high power and two USB points was from Amazon and was about £8.

My Amazon PJs order has just been cancelled. Not surprised!

@Iknownothing you can usually plug your phone into the plane seat to charge it.

So a question, I saw the code for Mylee upthread. I've never used gel polishes before. Do you apply them just like ordinary ones?

@Confusedmeanderings gel polishes need to be cured with a UV light. You need special base and top coats and then removal is slightly more involved than normal polish.

The star buy at Boots today looks to be quite a big set of Real Techniques brushes with 50% off. Sadly I was only dashing past, so didn't see the price, but they looked quite good from the door!
