Thanks @Bezzi for the title. Poor old link being colicky 🤣

Rideontoys have 20% off a lot of items this weekend (including Berg go karts)

bimb · 05/11/2021 14:43

@Justonedayatatime11 I don't know but you can create an account and get emails from them.

nicky2512 · 05/11/2021 15:03

@HulahoopsBBQbeef Thank you. It was saying available but then saying out of stock when I put it in basket but thanks to you I tried again and it worked this time.
Just need to hide it from myself when it arrives!

HulahoopsBBQbeef · 05/11/2021 15:08

Glad you got it @nicky2512. I’m actually very tempted myself. It’s in my basket and I keep debating it!

zeebee · 05/11/2021 15:11

lightswitch123 there are lots of dryrobe brand alternatives which are much cheaper and often have full length sleeves. Look on Wiggle under Changing robes in the triathlon section. We have a Zone3 one (cheaper one) and a Charlie McLeod (buy direct or Amazon). I’ve seen a number of people wearing the Frostfire Moonwrap. The dhb ones look good too.
Watersportswarehouse.co.uk have Gul branded robes at £80.
There’s usually a Zone 3 code knocking around.

nicky2512 · 05/11/2021 15:12

I accidentally bought some Joe and Sephs popcorn too! I’m nearly finished.

Lovemusic33 · 05/11/2021 15:28

Marking my place and looking for gifts for a 7/8 year old boy, possibly a board game or something else, he enjoys chess and loves the outdoors but also likes gaming (£10 budget or slightly over) and a 5/6 year old girl who likes girly things but also outdoorsy.

Also any gift ideas for older people? 95 year old lady.

Managed to do quite a bit this week and now have parcels arriving.

Lovemusic33 · 05/11/2021 15:30

@nicky2512

Too late! Had brainwave and tried with dh email but the Hotel Chocolat is sold out. I’m devastated and I didn’t even know I wanted it!!
I was tempted by it too. I wouldn’t worry, there were several good HC deals last year, I think I bought a hamper during Black Friday.
PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 05/11/2021 15:31

I'm trying to find a brightly-coloured personalised glasses case —DGM loses it in the depths of her handbag, and she's in a nursing home where they all seem to have very similar black bags so I think things go walkabout by mistake!

We love these treasure trails - they have lots for different areas of the country and are fun for kids and adults to do.

Trying to resist the Hotel Chocolat offer. Have spent well over budget already

IggyAce · 05/11/2021 15:51

@Lovemusic33 for the children how about a bug hunting kit, welly socks, nice hat scarf & gloves. Orchard games are good for the younger age group.

I think they got a bug hunting kit for their birthdays from grandparents, it’s been a big hit so something similar would be good.

IggyAce · 05/11/2021 15:53

@PolkadotsAndMoonbeams a quick Google and I found this glasses case on Etsy.

Lovemusic33 · 05/11/2021 15:55

If anyone’s kids have the Lego Ford Raptor (technics) on their list, the price has dropped on Amazon, I know it matches the price at smyths but it was around £120/£130 on Amazon, now £99. Dd wants it as her main present so I think I will buy at that price, as it’s a new set it’s not likely to drop much further? www.amazon.co.uk/LEGO-Advanced-Building-Collectible-Authentic/dp/B09842RJVW/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=Lego+Ford+raptor&srpt=TOY_BUILDING_BLOCK&qsid=261-4304617-8379648&sres=B09842RJVW%2CB09FGGFSSG%2CB09GFRHZLX%2CB09JM7CFMF%2CB08KZJM8WR%2CB09JP2NZMN%2CB09JFZZ72S%2CB09JKGWFTH%2CB09J2BNNPF%2CB09J4YMJHV%2CB09JW6P9L9%2CB09J2R5PT6%2CB09JSNCLLC%2CB09FZ8FYYJ%2CB09J4N31WR%2CB07G3D9TT6%2CB075GMFW2M%2CB084HXVS2H%2CB01J41GNG0%2CB075H1XL8S&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&qid=1636127496&sr=8-5

sorryiasked · 05/11/2021 15:57

@PolkadotsAndMoonbeams there are some on etsy if you search for "personalised glasses case". I saw a nice floral one on there.

Lovemusic33 · 05/11/2021 15:58

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 05/11/2021 15:59

PhantomErik · 05/11/2021 16:11

Can anyone help me find a book boxset please? I'm looking for the Eve of Man trilogy by G&T Fletcher but can only find single books but just wondered if there was an actual box set iykwim? Looking for paperback if possible.

I've tried the usual online places & found the first 2 as a set on Amazon but not all 3.

Ideally at a bargain price! Thanks!!

mummymilkfloat · 05/11/2021 16:11

@PolkadotsAndMoonbeams we’ve bought photo glasses cases and cloths before as gifts from the grandchildren to grandparents. If you can get a photo of them holding a sign that says “grandma’s glasses” or something, makes a really cute inexpensive gift that actually gets used!

Not sure if that link will work but I’ve bought glasses cleaning cloths from there last year

Fallagain · 05/11/2021 16:19

@Lovemusic33 what about some go find it cards.

Lurleene · 05/11/2021 16:22

My Neom pod was cancelled too, which is a shame but never mind.

I have however just bought a Tisserand diffuser for 18.99 from Amazon, there is a limited time deal on. So not as posh as the Neom but at that price I think I will cope. Smile

Ehunt1 · 05/11/2021 16:24

@sorryiasked thanks for the ride on toy info. I’ve been looking for a berg go kart and I have been refusing to pay full price for one!

Voiceofreason92 · 05/11/2021 16:28

Someone mentioned that Ticket to Ride London was on offer on amazon. I’ve played the Europe one before. Does anyone know if this is as good as Europe?
