Can anyone recommend a beginner guitar for a 9 year old? I've googled and they all are different sizes, strings and seem complicated. She's never played before but has been asking for a long time

My ds 9 has a 3/4 guitar and has done since he was 7, we got it from Amazon

Im after a boglin, i loved mine as a kid, but I need two and the cheapest I can find are 35.99,please keep your eyes out for me. I want my kids to relive my 80s childhood!

It doesn’t matter who starts the threads or who repeats the codes. Don’t make it all playground politics when we all -for years-have enjoyed brilliant tips, discounts and bargains. It’s my fav Christmas build up and I’d hate anyone to feel excluded or put out.

Yes! I spent a bit of time looking for the right size. These are roughly the size of my hand!! I bought a pack of 10 and they arrived really fast and were £3.79 delivered. Very pleased with them!

They were brought back following a kickstarter so I'd have thought stock might be a bit limited this year- £35.99 seems pretty good compared to most places but will keep an eye out!

I put those little matchbox puzzles from home bargains at each place setting (and try to remember who had what each year when I reuse them) so they'd fit in too.

I'm still having problems with the Amazon Lego vouchers spoke to Amazon via chat and they just said I'd have to leave it for 48hrs then buy again (I'd cancelled my order as it didn't take the voucher off) and add the voucher then.

Thank you whoever posted about the Lego vouchers not being applied. I hadn’t noticed this morning that mine weren’t applied (was on mobile in a rush!) and Amazon live chat have just sorted it out super quickly.

Words of warning anyone considering buying someone a one4all gift card don't do it and especially don't do a favourites one!

Seem good in theory but my 3yo having received one unless you know someone will def be able to use in store (and some shops don't know how to process) incredibly difficult to use online- not helped by the fact that no website will let you use it to part pay so you have to have an order lower or equal to voucher value which possibly has to allow for delivery or click and collect.

@Dreamingofwalden ikea do a cute electric train if no luck at ikea. They're only around £4/5 iirc.

Lots of Lego offers at the moment. Smyths toys are another shop with reduced sets. Might be worth a look if anyone is looking for a particular set.

I'm currently looking at the Lego Boost. Amazon seems the cheapest for it at the moment. Does anyone know if it's any good? I've read that they've now discontinued it so I'm wondering if there's a reason for this (and also if it's going to get any cheaper on Black Friday!)?
