Thanks @bizzey for the title, which tickled me! The day of the triffids? Nope, it’s the day of the cardboard boxes!

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

For anyone that was looking at the piececool models on Amazon a week or so ago some of them had 50% off. I put a racing car in my basket because it was still full price and left it.
Its now come up with the voucher for 50% off.
So worth looking back to see if some different ones now have vouchers.

Also to the poster who wanted disney princess dress up. The sainsburys ones are very good.

Does anyone know if the piececool models needs special tools?

@whoknows1230

Did anyone know anything about karaoke machines? Specifically “one that will link to the TV and display the words on the TV and has two microphones” Grin I’d rather not pay a huge amount as I don’t know how much it’ll be used!
Do you have a PlayStation by any chance? There’s a game called singstar that allows you to do just that. You have to buy the mics to accompany the game too. There are a few different editions with different songs, always go down well with the children (and adults!) in our family.

@Haudyourwheesht Tesco have had a disney princess barbie multi pack the last couple of years in their half price sale so might be worth keeping an eye on stock there

To be honest their website is awful. I had trouble finding things I knew were there, plus some things I couldn't find again having ordered the day before so assume if sold out they just disappear from the site.
Teddansononmyown · 21/10/2021 13:22

MsMiaWallace · 21/10/2021 13:23

@Rebelmcstreettuff

Yes,beware of short dated stock on Hotel Du Chocolate,bought a velvetiser and accessory box,the chocolate powder only had a couple of months expiry,complained but they came out with a load of bollocks about it containing milk Hmm Bought some gift sets which had 2 weeks left on them! Never ordering online again......
Yes I was looking online for a birthday gift in Hotel Chocolat. Was hard work finding something that wasn't reduced to clear. So went shopping and the selection in-store was great, a lot easier

£10 + £2.50 shipping for a tote bag and stationery bundle - says it's worth £40. I used student discount and got £1 off.

Changingagain · 21/10/2021 13:44

@IAmSantaOhYesIAm I've not made one but the one I ordered for dB has arrived. It's going to need very fine nosed pliers and wire cutters by the looks of it, the tabs are only a couple of mm long. It looks great though.

@IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts

Hobbycraft have a 3 for 2 deal on kids crafts and gifting sets - some brilliant deals and lots of presents ticked off my list. Includes some cool Green Science kits, Galt, Hama, Aquabeads, Play Doh, etc...
Someone was looking for a constellation projector & there's one in there!
Rockhopper81 · 21/10/2021 13:49

My Sock Shop socks have just arrived - thank you to whoever suggested them, plus whoever first shared the virtues of bamboo socks, because there feel so soft and I may be inclined to buy more and wear them exclusively...

boobybum · 21/10/2021 13:58

@ all WeAreTheWeirdosMister

A bit late for you but the code VIP20 gives a 20% discount off ohh dear.

Tamtam86 · 21/10/2021 14:01

Chelsea Peers have 20% off their mystic collection with code TREAT20

My favourite pjs are from there so just ordered a pair to give to my sister (unless I decide to keep them for myself! Grin)

RevolvingPivot · 21/10/2021 14:06

@sorryiasked

Can anyone recommend a quiet fidget toy - I can't stand the constant clicking/popping! Obviously bargainous preferred and pocket sized if possible. Thank you!
I've just bought dd these two from Facebook.

I've never bought a Mystery Bundle from anywhere before but I'm tempted.

Anyone had one from Ohh Deer before?

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 21/10/2021 14:36

@Haudyourwheesht

A bit of gentle probing has finally led to some specific requests from my DDs, so I'm wondering if anyone had seen bargains for a) a pink Barbie car or b) Disney Princess dress up outfits (for dolls, not children!) I've seen Snow White belle and jasmine on the Disney store (full price tho) but of course, they're the dolls they don't have. If anyone has seen anything I'd be eternally grateful.
Tesco usually has the car in their toy sale half price. Im sure I saw it last week.

And the dress up, could you find a bundle of second hand dolls/clothes. I did that last year for dd2 and wrapped them in a suitcase. She loved it.

Disney store usually has a big box set of the classic dolls on offer before christmas which would make a lovely gift. I always wanted to buy it for dds but dd1 hates dolls and dd2 is not a disney princess fan really!
