Thanks @bizzey for the title, which tickled me! The day of the triffids? Nope, it’s the day of the cardboard boxes!

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

I acknowledge that this is not the most glamorous present but could the Lakeland devotees guide me on whether the drying pod or the heated airers are best? My ds is in a small city centre flat with 2 kids and this would I think be great for her...but which one?

DoucheCanoe · 20/10/2021 11:25

@Trytowin20 we got this Barbie Ambulance for £35 in the toy event.

We've had ours about 3 years and it's still going strong but I've noticed it in the sale the last few years.

woodwaj · 20/10/2021 11:32

Just a reminder about Mrs Snowballs Bubble boutique for anyone new here. My October box just arrived (not a subscription I just buy as and when) and it smells fab! This box was just under £20 delivered

Can anyone recommend a quiet fidget toy - I can't stand the constant clicking/popping! Obviously bargainous preferred and pocket sized if possible. Thank you!

herecomesthsun · 20/10/2021 11:45

Ther-putty and similar are quiet.

Maddie2802 · 20/10/2021 11:45

Hi has anyone seen any good deals on wines/ wine gifts? Struggling with ideas on what to get the in-laws!

WeAreTheWeirdosMister · 20/10/2021 11:46

www.lookfantastic.com/offers/beauty-box.list
BBOCT gets you the Look Fantastic Beauty Box for £5 (might need to pay shipping)?

FREEBOX gets you box ^ plus a mystery bag for £14.50

Wainwriter · 20/10/2021 11:48

Thank you for the OK play recommendation. I've just ordered. I've been looking for more travel games and this looks perfect!

Haudyourwheesht · 20/10/2021 11:54

These are gorgeous @BonnesVacances - I'm trying to justify one for myself!

I got this Boden code in a magazine this week if anyone could use it?

@BellsaRinging

I've just ordered the Lakeland Dry:Soon Deluxe 3-Tier Heated Airer for £74.95 from the Lakeland eBay site. On their main site, it would have been £164.99 so quite a saving. It didn't come with a cover so I ordered one separately but still a good deal. The one I ordered on ebay is out of stock at the moment but I was checking every day for a few days and they seem to come back in stock now and again. They are refurbished ones but I was willing to take the chance for such a saving.

Not tried it yet but it gets quite good reviews.

Blueberryflavour · 20/10/2021 11:59

@BellsaRinging I don’t have any experience of the drying pod but I have had the Dry:Soon 3 tierd heated airer for a few years, it does fold flat but takes up quite a bit of room when fully erected you can just have one side opened up or both though. I love mine but it maybe too big if space is very limited.

Trytowin20 · 20/10/2021 12:00

@woodwaj that box looks lovely!

NoWordForFluffy · 20/10/2021 12:07

@Twilightstarbright

Any decent coffee recommendations for someone who’s loves small/independent roasters? I did the paddy and Scott gift last year and it was a huge hit so I’m hoping to repeat.
@Twilightstarbright, Neighbourhood Coffee in Liverpool are brilliant!
oatmilkisntsobad · 20/10/2021 12:07

Just got my 'delayed in cargo ships' email from Spicery!

toffeeshock · 20/10/2021 12:09

I can’t find any in stock anywhere but thanks @ljbmum76 that would have been an amazing bargain! I’ll keep looking in case they get any in.

@BellsaRinging I bought this one from Lakeland on the recommendation of another MN'er and I would recommend it too. Definitely been useful the last week since I've had it with the arrival of DD2.
InDreamland · 20/10/2021 12:20

@Jules0702 they seemed to changed being allowed to stack the codes pretty quickly after they were posted here. However, this morning I managed to stack the 30% off code with a 10% off code they emailed me after I abandoned my basket for a day and the free delivery code. So managed to still get a good discount. Ordered items this morning at 10:25, at 10:43 I received a dispatch email and text message.

Namechangesagain · 20/10/2021 12:21

@BellsaRinging we have the jml dry buddy. its 74.99 and comes with a 3 year guarantee if you buy it directly from the website

toffeeshock · 20/10/2021 12:23

My hot diamonds order has arrived and I’m very impressed, it comes with a gift bag and tissue and looks lovely - it will make a great gift so thanks for the codes! I didn’t have a dispatch email so thought they might cancel my order.

Avoca76 · 20/10/2021 12:36

Both my kids have decided that they are now collecting ty beanie boos. Anyone know the best place to buy them?

psuedocream3 · 20/10/2021 12:39

@Avoca76 Claires and Hamleys currently have some on clearance, and WHSmith stock some that you can use the 25% off code stacked with the 10% code.

DumplingsAndStew · 20/10/2021 12:42

Just a wee one here. Was in Morrisons earlier in the week, and they had some 1000 piece, traditional style jigsaws half price at £2.50 I think even the full price fiver would have been good value tbh.

I got this one for my mum.
