I want to give DH a pack of lovehearts if I can track them down...
NCT do pics on mugs I think... www.nctsales.co.uk/prodlist.asp?cat=71&scat=119

moondog · 10/12/2007 18:35

A compass
A leatherman (like Swiss army thing)
Nice pens (I love the uni-ball eye micro)
A massage voucher

ProjectIcarus · 10/12/2007 18:38

Would a pocket kite count as tat? We love ours. It was John Lewis I think but I just looked and they only have a naff Fifi one now.

FrannyandZooey · 10/12/2007 18:41

oh he has umpteen kites and bought ME one for my birthday

Numpty thank you but it was a joke between me and TooT - TooT's dp does wonderful mugs, t-shirts, mousemats etc with your design printed on them

Moondog yours all sound expensive [suspicious] In my book a stocking filler costs about 4 quid AT MOST

am going to go and order fab seeds from fab seed link from this morning

moondog · 10/12/2007 18:43

Voila!

Bocohohoho · 10/12/2007 18:48

DD was given this last year and it was a big hit with dp.
London in a bag and they do country in a bag and other cities too.

FrannyandZooey · 10/12/2007 19:00

yes I love those Boco but would count as tat

he has odd puritan tendencies as far as stockings go

have ordered loads of seeds though, am very happy about that, thanks BadKitten

cheers Moondog what a very nice compass

I used it to fab effect in Sunday school last week to teach kids about using stars to navigate by in rtelation to 3 kings.

BadKittenInAPearTree · 10/12/2007 20:32

You're welcome I hope he enjoys them. Let me know how they go - I might order some for myself sometime. Tried some fabulous purple runner beans this year that had pink flowers (except the beans went green as soon as they hit boiling water)

Minor miracle I could find the link last night though. I had sampled the cherry vodka we made from the neighbours cherry tree. Very nice - very potent. oops!

PutThatInYourPipeandSmokeIt · 10/12/2007 21:26

He must absolutely have a new toothbrush and some deodorant in his stocking and some new underwear! Also - mini pics of the LOs (or LO?) to put in to his wallet?? Small (tiny) book on caring for a bonsai tree? Small book on wines or if he's in to silver, a hallmark book.

last ditch attempt

FrannyandZooey · 11/12/2007 08:13

toothbrush - check
deodorant - I won't buy the sort he uses, it is vile chemically affair
new underwear is organic fair trade stuff he asked for and far too expensive to go in stocking
'into' silver - not sure what that would entail but sounds dodgy

off to check links

Avi that first thing was 50 pounds! The planisphere is fab, what a great thing (even though I know I am actually the star gazer of the family - well maybe it will get him into it? Ds is certainly very interested, especially when I told him Pegasus is up there)

resurrection thing also very good and quite funny. Would make a good Easter present don't you think?
