What do you really want for Christmas?

After a crappy, stressful year (ttc with no succes, a lot of blood tests, a lot of work, a lot of stress) DH and I are making our Christmas lists. I've finished everyone's presents, but my list is pretty much empty (an electric blanket & a couple of books)

Any ideas? What would you like to get for Christmas?

@CallieOpie - My Venetian Passport in Olive arrived earlier this week from Wanderers and it is a thing of beauty. Buttery soft leather. They are also doing an offer at the moment where you get a free card wallet with every order. I got the Venetian one to match the bag - worth £59.

To be booked into a comfy hotel alone for 2 nights to sleep & eat. Somewhere without phone signal or wifi.

A dyson air wrap - am intrigued & wonder if it will bake my thinning feathers look professionally blow dried.

Likelihood of either is slim to none. I expect I'll get a couple of Boots 3for1 bubble bath sets (we don't have a bath)

I want riding boots, and carpet on my landing.

A tablet to use alongside my kindle, boots that fit my muscley calves. Some Xbox games and finally something that stops my pain.

A weekend crochet retreat and lots of yarn to go with it

I would love an LV Neverfull tote bag in Dune, or a pair of Dubarry Longford boots.

There is zero chance of my receiving either of those things, but that's okay. One day . . .

Dream but unlikely gifts cos of cost is muglers alien goddess perfume, and the poirot dvd or blu ray box set.

I've asked my mum for the champneys yoga Spa gift set thing from boots.

No idea what to tell my OH. If I don't give him ideas he literally buys like... onesies in a size 8 - and I'm a size 14/16 . I'll probably tell him of some classic hollywood movies and a yoga mat, or sudoku books x

I want my family healthy and happy and to see my dc’s happy excited faces…that’s it. In fact I am so excited for Christmas! Me and dh have said no presents as we have quite enough with the dc’s etc but may do a few surprise stocking fillers. I honestly couldn’t care though as all I want is to watch dcs open theirs!

I'd like cloud 9 cordless straighteners. I hate plugs and cables. Someone else to cook Christmas dinner, the new pandora bracelet. Someone to do the skip run after Christmas day. I love a nice candle or bath oil. Maybe an oodie. Bought the kids one and I'm actually jealous. I don't know who is buying any of it though. Maybe myself lol

Love seeing what everyone wants - can't believe how many of you want Lego!

And I'd never heard of Oodies before so googled them - and still don't understand why you want them!

I would like cashmere socks, an Acqua di Parma diffuser, and maybe something nice to wear. No more books - I love them so people always give them to me but I have more than I can read right now and it's stressing me out!

The children love Christmas but as we are going to the inlaws this year I shall be happiest when I get home and can light a scented candle and write my thank you letters in the peace of my own kitchen.

Oh actually I would like the new Nigel Slater cookbook.

To have shifted this awful cold and cough thats been going on for 10 days now....so some energy to get out again....oh and a holiday...

I have bought myself the complete Famous Five set of books and the complete Mallory Towers because im too embarassed to ask for them! My parents usually give me money so that should cover it. Im 49 years old and remember reading them when i was little and have been buying myself a couple as i see them in charity shops!

A piece of jewellery from my bf - something very small, a heart-shaped pendant or something.

I may get one or more of the books.

I find myself turning more Scrooge like every year. There is so much waste and rubbish in the world and Xmas just adds to it. All the waste and expensive presents, more ‘stuff’ we don’t need.

So I only want something I genuinely need and at the moment that’s a small handheld vacuum to clean up around kids and pets.
