He's gone to work Angry I told him we hadn't decided and he said 'well I said I couldn't do it' but I said the same thing! I'm not impressed. He said 'I even told you at the beginning of the week I could do any day but Wednesday' and I replied 'yes but I said the same thing!'. Ffs.

Vaccination day today (or possibly tomorrow) for DS. One of my friends is administering the clinic so I've asked her to be gentle with my baby 😂

I am fuming. As he left he said 'are you not talking to me now?' I said 'well, I just don't know what to say 🤷🏻‍♀️' he said he was sorry but he really had to go in. But so did I! Apparently I can go and do my work another day but he has to be there today for this. As if I'm not already doing a million things with my work/uni/assignments/sorting the dc.

Oh well. I need to go to the library so will do that today. Ds can stay in the car whilst I pop in then I can do some uni work.

It was over 39 again in the night but below 38 this morning. Never known him he unwell for so long. Doesn't help that he barely blows his nose because is grosses him out Grin

I have a good life insurance policy for him if anyone wants to bump him off for meWink

I've not done much in the way of colour changing like that before and I'm aiming for something simple I can knock up quickly but I'm saving that as something I may make for myself

I think I'd be fuming and there would be some harsh words when he got home. You're supposed to decide and make a plan together!

I'm up to my eyes in work but distracting myself by planning my Saturday. DH is going away overnight, leaving in the afternoon so my plan So far is a lie in, lazy late breakfast. See DH off then do a trip to b&m (hopefully for some toys / presents, stuff for my Christmas table and possibly lights), Festive, the Christmas factory shop (purely for the atmosphere) then the garden centre (hoping for decs, maybe a traditional advent calendar, atmosphere and possibly tea and cake).

I know I can do most of it online but I've barely been anywhere over the last few weeks and I want to get out for an hour or 2. Plus it's not the same as seeing stuff properly before you buy.

Sounds like a lovely plan for the weekend Crazy I prefer to see things in person as well.
So tired and I'm not even sure why? Might be a two coffee day. Picked up a couple of selection boxes for my niece and nephew in Tesco as they were half price.

Oh no....I've twitched!!

I'd done all DD's presents and I've just bought her a couple of other presents.

Why am I twitching in November? Xmas Confused

Wreck sometimes men are so bloody obtuse, It always falls to me to deal with school runs, sick days etc because of DH's job. Admittedly it's so much easier for me to juggle but it doesn't stop me being cross that he just can't drop a shift.

I've asked DH again this afternoon what he wants for Christmas... he wants me to bake some fairy cakes tomorrow. 🤷‍♀️ at least I tried.

It's the postage cost that puts me off! If I see anywhere on HUKD with free postage always go have a nosy Grin

I wandered into Waitrose today (as you do Grin), and they had zimtsterne. I looooove them, but haven't had them for years, since my friend in Germany sent them to me. I got so excited, decided to sod the diet, bought two packs and have forbidden DH from even looking at them!

Firefly, that's why I didn't buy them online, as I also hate postage costs. However, as we're in Liverpool on Saturday, I can check out the Lego shop!

Hayup I only suggested it as I'd get quite a few "Christmas" themed things for my birthday in March...my mum would hide stuff so well she'd forget where she'd put it. 🤦‍♀️😂

He still has a temperature (37.9° this morning so not as bad) and cough. He has asked for breakfast though which is an improvement. Our fruit bowl is still full as he hasn't eaten all week. Dh was in full grovelling mode yesterday, cooked dinner and cleared away and is up making DD's packed lunch etc despite not going to work today. I still let him continue to make up for his actions for a few more days.
