How would shitting in someone's slippers work 70? 🤔 🤣 That would be very strange. This conversation has gone in an unexpected direction

NoWordForFluffy · 25/10/2021 22:00

🤣🤣🤣 70! 😱🙈

Why, very grim indeed for you. 🤮

Woolly, that's crap re the Buck's Fizz. One day...

We have loads of Christmas bedding. I could easily buy more though. Xmas Grin

I really couldn't say why but nothing about this thread would shock me now Xmas Grin

Morning!

Apparently it's going to be wet this morning and then dry out. It's really not amazingly warm either now. The greenhouse was toasty yesterday, however, while I was watering the chillies and lemon tree.

I did quite well at getting ahead at work yesterday...I shall wait for it to fall apart, ha ha!

Crazy, how are you both doing?

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 26/10/2021 07:56

Oh why that's horrible!

Slow morning here. Ds is going to holiday club, dh is taking him for 9 and dd is staying home with me as I've got a uni day. I'm not dressed yet and dd just got up. On a school day she leaves at 7:30, dh at 7:40 and ds and I at 8:10 so it's nice not to rush.

Fluffy (or anyone else) do you know if M&S clothes with have anything discounts or sales before Christmas?

NoWordForFluffy · 26/10/2021 08:03

There's a sale on now for M&S. I think most discounts are via Sparks now, however. What are you after?

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 26/10/2021 08:18

I don't get anything from sparks. Dd wants the Harry Potter dungarees but they're £26!

NoWordForFluffy · 26/10/2021 08:23

Ouch! Even with 20% off they'll be dear, especially at the rate they grow at that age!

OP posts:
CrazyBaubles · 26/10/2021 09:21

Neros I hope you're feeling better?

Why - just 🤢 at your 💩 experience in work!

Things are ok here. DH is coughing more and his sleeping is all over the place - he slept from 4pm until 9pm last night which is unheard of - he never sleeps in the day, then I could hear him watching tv at 4am.
I'm ok, just lots of sneezing / sniffing and this morning my legs and arms feel heavy. Will go and do an LFT in a minute and am booking my follow up pcr at the test centre for in the morning. Still hoping I've just got a rubbish cold though!

Fingers crossed your work stuff stays good Fluffy!

I'm being rubbish at getting organised for Christmas. I couldn't concentrate on anything after work yesterday - not even online shopping. I just sat staring at the tv for a few hours then went to bed early 🙄

I need to get a wriggle on, although presents will be easier as we discussed it on the family whatsapp group with ILs yesterday and everyone wants to do the charity presents again this year.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 26/10/2021 18:07

I am haunting the M&S site waiting fr a 20% off on my Sparks card ,
I saw some gorgeous pyjamas for DD ( nice winter ones ) I'll get the Christmas ones somewhere less £ .
She got some cotton ones for her birthday but I took her into the shop to check she liked them first !

Morning!

The windy but dry forecast for today, which prompted us to do washing to put out first thing, has been replaced by windy and chucking it down. Hurrah! 🙄 I hate wet washing in the house; it needs a go outdoors first. Sigh.

70, Sparks offers of any quality are few and far between!

OP posts:
CrazyBaubles · 27/10/2021 09:37

That's annoying Fluffy

I'm being rubbish with our washing (in this house that just means there are 2 loads in the basket) so I've chucked one in today. It's going to have to dry on the heated airer or radiators though because it's set to continue raining until the weekend here.

Just back from my pcr test. Fingers crossed for a negative result, although if it is, I definitely have some sort of cold / bug because I'm sneezing, hot and coughing.

WreckTangled · 27/10/2021 16:43

Hope the result comes back quickly crazy.

I did my first ever assessment on a patient today. Had three people observing me Blush but feedback was good.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 27/10/2021 19:03

My M&S rewards are a free film ( I don;t watch many films and we have Netflix) and a loaf of sliced white bread ( which even if it is M&s bread cannot compete with the lovely loaves I bake at home ( well the Panasonic does it , I help though Xmas Wink )

NoWordForFluffy · 27/10/2021 22:35

You have to buy an American meal deal to get the film as well, 70!

I have that life plan one still. And 20% off beauty. I've never bought from that dept! Xmas Hmm

Morning. Dh is doing pumpkins with the dc today. I've got work. Last year ds wretched whilst doing the pumpkin, will probably do the same this year Grin

pussycatlickinglollyices · 28/10/2021 06:25

Wreck erm, have your warned DH? Grin
I've had a 💩 day or 2. DH has a tummy bug, so I've been keeping well away sleeping in the spare room trying not to catch it. 🤞
He thought he was better last night, but at 4am he discovered he was very, very wrong. 😂
And again each hour since then.

I now realise that I'm probably on borrowed time myself...bugger.

WreckTangled · 28/10/2021 06:37

Oh no puss! I often don't get the bugs dh and the dc get. Female superpower. I'm not warning dh because he already grumpy about doing the pumpkins Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 28/10/2021 07:10

Oh no, Puss...keep hiding!

We rarely get anything other than colds here. Last time we had a stomach bug in the house (2017), DH and I had it relatively mildly, as did DD. DS didn't catch it. And we've not had one since. So DD has been sick once since weaning and DS not at all!

Travel south day today. It's grim weather for travelling. Sigh.

OP posts:
pussycatlickinglollyices · 28/10/2021 08:17

Thanks. He's having a nap. I can hear his tummy churning, so he's got a wheelie bin bag under a bathtowel under him my poor washing machine I'm still ok...it's like poo roulette. 😂
fluffy have a safe journey. The sky here is a v weird pinky/orange. Carols map (BBC) suggests the rain won't get to me until 2ish (if at all) so you should be ok.

NoWordForFluffy · 28/10/2021 09:19

We had that sky, Puss. The garden had a post-apocalyptic colour to it, but it wouldn't show on a photo, sadly.

Good luck with DH's arse!

OP posts:
pussycatlickinglollyices · 28/10/2021 09:46

fluffy not wanting to lower the tone, but my washing machine is on again 🤢😩 and a bin bag is in the bin. Sainsburys haven't had wheelie bin bags in for weeks...I've a roll and a half...I might last until Monday at this rate 🤦‍♀️
Half the battle is stopping the cats chasing him up the stairs to the bathroom he's banned from the ensuite as I NEVER use the bathroom I've used so many dreamies to bribe them back down, they've gone a bit more bonkers than normal.😹😻😺

CrazyBaubles · 28/10/2021 09:52

Oh dear puss, your poor DH. Hopefully he'll be on the mend soon!

Fluffy what are you travelling south for?

I got my pcr results this morning - negative. So it seems DH has Covid and I have a random cough / cold / bug / virus. Bloody typical 🙄

NoWordForFluffy · 28/10/2021 10:11

Delivering Booths' snacks to Woolly, Crazy! Xmas Grin (Seeing family really!)

Well done on dodging Covid! Typical you're ill anyway though. 🙄

WreckTangled · 29/10/2021 07:10

57 morning. It's pitch black and chucking it down here. I saw a frog and a rat crossing the road and then a barn owl swoop down to get something and it turned and looked right at me Grin

We've got the dentist today Sad wish me luck. It's been eight months since we last went and it's a new dentist so hope they're nice like our old one.
