Has anyone ever bought one of those build your own den kits that The Works sell? I'm debating getting one as a joint gift for dc but struggling to work out if it's any good or a waste of money..

We have it and my kids love it. I bought a second set so they could make larger dens. Gave them an old sheet that they use to put over it. All I would say is remind them to push the poles in holding near the end otherwise the poles can bend.

Any recommendations for vegan chocolates under £5?

I usually give the neighbours some chocolates & Prosecco for Christmas but they've become vegans this summer

I've got a Yankee Christmas candle for them and thought a small box of vegan chocolates

@superstar84 I've bought vegan friends various chocolates from M&S - vegan salted caramels, Belgian truffles etc and they've always been well received and only £4-5. Most plain dark chocolate is vegan too- Green & Blacks etc

We bought him the BBC version of Wind in the Willows, and he absolutely loves it (plays it everyday........) so would love some more good-quality productions, but everything seems to be on audible nowadays.

ZIGGY on the previous thread was asking about vegan hot choc. Not hot choc but I bought the vegan version of Horlicks purely because it was cheaper than the non vegan one and it tastes good and you can make it in the velvetiser.

@DillieDoily thank you. We have a pile of Christmas books that come out with the decorations each year and I know ds6 is going to have outgrown most of them this year. He loves joke books though so that will be a great addition though I'm sure I'll be sick of hearing them before the tree is up
