Amazon lightning deal on kids dinosaur or space pyjamas- some are £6.79 and most are £7.64 pjs

Maranello · 05/10/2021 11:30

@evtheria how about Roald Dahl? Wordery has a set of CDs with 5 different books.

Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 05/10/2021 11:30

@lolarabbit if you type 'air dry clay for kids' into Amazon it brings up a few sets within your budget. My Dd got some during lock down and it's by far and away the best thing she's ever had, so much so that we're now on about her 6th box. She's currently crafting a nativity set, but she's made us keyrings, earrings, place card holders you name it. It's one of those things that parents can be involved in if they want to be, but if not it's perfectly doable with no adult input even for littlies.

Maranello · 05/10/2021 11:32

@Sallyrush if you want to share which powder you're looking for, I can check if I have any referral discounts from one of the other (many! Blush) beauty sites I'm signed up to?

Greenhand · 05/10/2021 12:01

@Daisy829 I was given this book from Kew Gardens It's very pretty and quite informative if your friend is interested in that kind of thing. There are more photos of the inside on amazon and I think it was a bit cheaper there too.

lolarabbit · 05/10/2021 12:24

Thanks to @Fueledwithfairydustandgin @Number109 and @Haveyoubrushedyourteeth for your great ideas. Off to search...
As a side question, does anyone have experience of Djeco toys/crafts (French company) and if so have you found them good quality/value?

Daisy829 · 05/10/2021 12:27

Just picked up the A Little Something items I ordered from boots. Got the hair care set & shower gels. Absolute bargain! They look great. Thanks to whoever posted about them originally

mammyaroundmadness · 05/10/2021 12:28

I can vouch for these PJ's. DS has had the glow in the dark planet ones for about a year and they've been washed and tumbled loads without the glow in the dark coming off or elastic going.

I'm off to buy some more now as he's almost outgrown his so thanks for the heads up.

RainbowPhilosophy · 05/10/2021 12:32

@Daisy829 that was me. Still waiting on the bits I ordered to be delivered so I'm glad to hear yours look good Smile

aimslou · 05/10/2021 12:33

@evtheria

Hello, all! Hope someone can recommend me a great children's audiobook on CD for DS, 7, who has an old-school stereo in bedroom. We bought him the BBC version of Wind in the Willows, and he absolutely loves it (plays it everyday........) so would love some more good-quality productions, but everything seems to be on audible nowadays.
My son 7 has how to train your dragon series And puffin 5 minute stories which he loves too
psuedocream3 · 05/10/2021 12:35

@Daisy829 That was me, you are very welcome :)

Not a bargain, but how cute are these joggers... £7.99 at H&M.

Thank you for the suggestions for candles... I was completely sold by the PP who said the scent to destress one smells like walking into a spa and bough one for my SS... and one for myself 🙊 and a bath foam to go with it for myself. 🙈

Duvetflower · 05/10/2021 12:53

Does anyone have any ideas for a cheap laser printer? I'm fine with second hand or slight second so long as there's some come back if it stops working.

Daisy829 · 05/10/2021 12:53

I’m toying with ordering the hair mask set for my 15yo niece for next year. It’s a great little set.

PhantomErik · 05/10/2021 12:58

We've had several craft kits from Djeco & they have been really good quality (although I do find them expensive) especially the fashion designer type ones.
Notlongnow1 · 05/10/2021 13:06

@lolarabbit also really rate Djeco but tends to be pricey so very interested if you've seen a bargain 😍

PunkAssMoFo · 05/10/2021 13:09

@evtheria My two have audible, but go still go back old school CD books. Paddington is a favourite, they also have Harry Potter, Michael murporgo, the wombles and the marina series.

@lolarabbit Djeco stuff is a little more expensive than similar items, but it is always so lovely & good quality.

WheresTheCoffee · 05/10/2021 13:12

Thank you for the joke book link @DillieDoily, that's perfect for DD!
