Thanks for the last thread @MissCherryCakeyBun and thread title @OneMorePieceOfCheese and @room4onemore

@Jumpingintosummer

Has anyone spotted a naked marshmallow discount code? I can’t find one, I would be overjoyed with free postage Xmas Blush
If it's the Advent Calendar you're after.

They sell it on Not on The High Street with free delivery.

If you want to chance it & wait they sometimes have NOTHS discount codes.

Sorry they also sell the normal stock (not just the advent calendar) on there too, hadn't noticed!!
@letsplaybamboozled is your dairy milk chocolate house accessible or hidden? Wondering if it's gluten free, we can't do the normal gingerbread houses as I'm gluten free
The Cadbury's website has the info if it helps

@psuedocream3

Sorry to hear everyone's perfume and aftershave orders were cancelled, mine too, although I am glad I haven't had to chase anyone for a refund.

@TummyTurtle My husband enjoys ancestry, he just logs on on the free days they often do to see if any new leads etc have popped up. They do a half price offer on the ancestry DNA kit on Black Friday, worth every penny

@psuedocream3 it’s just one of those things Thanks for taking the time to share anyway. I never pin my hopes on getting all of the bargains or deals until they are in the house and hidden as then you can’t be upset when a glitch or error is caught etc. We’ve still lots of time for I think another 20 threads of bargains Grin

TummyTurtle · 04/10/2021 15:07

@Lurleene ah that's really interesting! I have a toddler so I'm not sure 14 day trial will quite be long enough as I can't guarantee free time in the evenings!

@psuedocream3 I saw the ancestry DNA offer last black Friday but wasn't really sure how useful I'd find it. What does it actually show you? I'm pretty sure my last 4 generations are just 100% white British!!!

psuedocream3 · 04/10/2021 15:18

@TummyTurtle My husband has a big family and relatives in many countries so it has been interesting for him to find out where his family would have come from originally and how certain events in history would have moved them about.

I think one of the main benefits of the DNA ancestry kit, is that it matches you with relatives who have also taken the test with a very very strong degree of accuracy. He has found relatives who he didn't know existed and it's linked his research with theirs and he's been able to make corrections and expand the tree with more accurate information.

butterflymum · 04/10/2021 15:20

@TummyTurtle

I'm sure folks over on the Mumsnet genealogy board would be happy to help with your questions too. It's here Mumsnet genealogy

Trytowin20 · 04/10/2021 15:33

@superstar84 thanks second blooming ingredient 😔

user1493494961 · 04/10/2021 15:38

My Ancestry subscription was £59.99 for 12 months (this was about 3 months ago). I did the 14 day free trial, cancelled afterwards and then was offered what I thought was a very good deal.

Ewock · 04/10/2021 15:39

Montanna15 · 04/10/2021 15:39

@RevolvingPivot
Hey how much was the Slush puppie cup ? Is it from b&m? 6 year old son has asked for a Slush puppie machine but I think the novelty would wear off quick so this would be perfect!

MsMiaWallace · 04/10/2021 15:43

I bought the slush puppy cup from b&m. It was £6.

RevolvingPivot · 04/10/2021 15:58

Yes and the syrup was £6. I wanted to get the slush machine but we don't have room and I don't think it will get used.

I only got one though. They will have to share it. I usually get two of everything. I'll just have to put it into separate cups.

Ewock · 04/10/2021 16:00

@clpsmum

Nice little set for £10 with free bag
Sorry if I'm being daft which site is this from? Thanks
xmasdealhunter · 04/10/2021 16:04

@Ewock aloha65.com/products/aloha-65-lemonade-spritz-mini-set/ according to their instagram post, you order the mini spritz kit and they send the bag free x

foxgoosefinch · 04/10/2021 16:05

Oh no, I can’t see them on mine! There’s snitch one and a Hogwarts shield one available but I can’t see the snow dome! (The one I’m after is a glass snow dome with a little gold model of Hogwarts in it…)

Jumpingintosummer · 04/10/2021 16:05

Thanks @MarshmallowsOnToast I actually already have that pre ordered for DD. It was just the marshmallow coal sack for DS’s stocking, but don’t want to die down £30 for free delivery.

Ewock · 04/10/2021 16:05

@clpsmum

Nice little set for £10 with free bag
Ignore me I'm blatantly being daft and just seen it on the bottom of the picture! 🤦‍♀️
LetsPlayBamboozled · 04/10/2021 16:07

@trytowin20 I see you've already found the answer and I didn't buy it myself as I am Coeliac so I feel your pain! DD would love to attempt to eat the entire thing herself mind...

Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 04/10/2021 16:11

We got the chocolate house x 4 last Christmas and to be honest I felt it was a bit of a rip off. I'd anyone is buying them for multiple children I'd advise getting one having a peek then buying bars the same for half the price. On reflection I was probably expecting too much but it literally is just bars of chocolate that you stick together with a mini bag of buttons and a mini flake, and a triangular piece of card that shows you the angle to cut the roof. If you used Aldi chocolate you could make it for 2£ max I reckon

xmasdealhunter · 04/10/2021 16:13

studio have got the tikkers smart watch down to £19 from £27

link

PinkJam · 04/10/2021 16:19

Daisy829 · 04/10/2021 16:38

Oh thanks @PinkJam my DD loves Cluedo was thinking of getting it for her.

NeedMoreTea · 04/10/2021 16:45

There's a genealogy section on Mumsnet - how did I not know about that! Thanks @butterflymum. Xmas shopping paused ... rushes off to investigate.
